Reliability and sensitivity analysis of a two unit warm standby system with low efficiency unit
In the present paper the system considered consists of two subsystems A and B. Subsystem A consists of identical operating and warm standby units. While subsystem B has two dissimilar units: main unit and a unit in cold standby. Main unit of subsystem B is assumed to be more efficient than the standby unit so when the main unit fails the system goes to the state of low efficiency. Main unit is connected to cold standby unit with a switching over device. Further, whenever there is a failure in one of the units of A and in the main unit of subsystem B, the system goes to critical state where system has to stop functioning to avoid the further failures. Also we have considered that the company providing repair facility has appointed a repairman. The repairman repairs the system in case of minor failures but when the system fails completely he has to take it to the nearest service station of the company for repair. By applying Supplementary variable technique, Laplace transformations and copula methodology transition state probabilities, asymptotic behaviour, reliability, availability, M.T.T.F., cost effectiveness and sensitivity of the system have been determined. Particular cases corresponding to the situations when the standby unit of subsystem A is in cold standby and in hot standby have also been considered. At last some numerical examples have been taken to illustrate the model.

An optimality theoretic study of local assimilation: data from Sorani Kurdish
This study deals with the process of local assimilation of consonants in Kurdish. It is conducted within the theoretical framework of Optimality Theory(OT). The study hypothesizes that among the constraints of local assimilation , markedness is more dominant than faithfulness. It is also claimed that local assimilation can be found within a word and not necessarily between word boundaries. The paper is divided into three main sections; the first section addresses the main concepts and trends concerned with optimality theory. The second section deals with assimilation, its main concepts and categories. The third section shows the cases of local assimilation of consonants in Kurdish within the framework of OT. The sample of the study are all taken from (Sorani Kurdish- the semi standard dialect in Kurdish Language) from written and oral sources.

A giant lipoma of the thigh: a case report
Soft tissue tumors, benign or malignant, are often seen and diagnosed at a stage they become clinically gigantic or when traditionnal treatments undertaken prove their unefficiency. Authors wanted to illustrate this fact by relating the observation a giant lipoma of the thigh. The authors report in this study the observation of a 48 year old patient with a painless swelling of the left thigh evolving for 35 years and gradually increased in size, without repercussion on the function or the General state. Palpation founds a tumor in the anterolateral region of the left thigh. Radiography shows the shadow of the tumor with bone integrity. For reasons of lack of resources, MRI could not be done. Histology confirmed the diagnosis. A giant lipoma of 2900 grams measuring 27x18 cm.anatomopathology reconfirms the diagnosis.

Compatibility of Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company's (ITM Co.) Tractors with Locally Designed and Constructed tillage and planting equipment From the Farmers' Point of view
Compatibility of implements with tractors has direct impact on quality of work (planting and tillage). To determine the degree of compatibility, data were collected from 310 tractor users throughout Kurdistan, West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Kermanshah and Hamadan provinces in Iran by random sampling method using Cochran’s formula. Each questionnaire sheet had six check boxes indicating different levels of satisfaction (excellent, very good, good, moderate, weak and very weak) with the values of 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1, respectively. Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.67 obtained for the questionnaires. The results showed that the slope of land had significantly negative effect on compatibility of tractors with the equipment. Also tillage and planting equipment were less compatible with MF240 tractor. MF285 tractor was incompatible with all the equipment used. On the other hand, MF399, because of its high traction capacity, observed to be the most compatible with equipment. Results also showed that the farmers' education had direct impact on compatibility between tractor and implements. Providing the farmers with more knowledge about the compatibility factors, draft and implement adjustments through CDs and manuals as well as short training courses may help to overcome tractor-implement incompatibility problems.

Investigate the relationship between sense of place and place attachment in the student dormitory
Today, Concepts such as a sense of place and place attachment is highly demonstrated in the literature of architecture and urbanism in the field of environmental studies, however, the relationship between the two has not been explained. This study, after definition of sense of place and place attachment and the factors influencing them, derived a five-dimensional model from the factors affecting these two concepts as a theoretical framework. After it, this five- dimensional model has been tested in two case studies, Eram dormitory and Ghods dormitory in Shiraz university. In the process of testing, semi-structured interview and questionnaire was used to collect data and SPSS software has been used to analyze the results of survey. Results show that there is a strong relationship between sense of place and place attachment. Results show too that formal factors of environment have a high importance in both sense of place and place attachment. However, the time factor has a lowest importance in creating sense of place but in creating place attachment, it has a high importance after formal factors.

Optimal process parameters settings affecting the impact strength response of biocomposite materials
This paper utilized Taguchi robust design of experiment to obtain the optimum response and optimum setting of control factors affecting the impact strength response of ukam plant fiber reinforced CNSL biocomposite. Fiber Orientation (A), Fiber volume fraction (B) and Aspect ratio(C) are the considered process parameters used in the study. Charpy Impact test was carried out considering Standard L9 orthogonal array for the nine experimental runs and the optimization was done based on a larger is better Signal Noise ratio. Fiber volume fraction had the most significant effect on impact strength response evaluated. The optimum impact strength was captured as 11.12963KJ/m2.

New Operational Matrices of Shifted Fourth Chebyshev wavelets
This paper presents some important operational matrices of fourth kind Chebyshev wavelets. New formula of operational matrix of derivative for fourth kind Chebyshev polynomials is first obtained and then operational matrices of derivative and integration of the fourth Chebyshevwavelets basis are derived. The proposed results are of direct interest in many applications.

Molecular charecterization of multidrug resistance in acinetobacter species
The aim of this study to determine the prevalence of multidrug resistance in Acinetobacter species, these are ubiquitous Gram-negative bacteria widespread in nature .They live in soil and water. They utilize a wide variety of carbon and other energy sources and grow well on routine lab media. Originally known as antibiosis, antibiotics were drugs that had action against bacteria. Acinetobacter strain which was isolated from blood, pus and urine was collected from different hospital lab. It was further confirmed to be Acinetobacter using various biochemical test and observing the growth in the Mcconkey agar medium .Also it is found that ESBL strains are weak bio film producers, hence spread these organisms are restricted by bio film production. In quantitative assay by observing the OD at 600nm,the rate of bio film production was observed .This results strongly correlates with qualitative assay .Finally the ESBL strain was subjected to plasmid isolated ,separated using Agarose Gel and the gel was documented .The molecular weight was recorded to be 14000 kb by comparing with the marker protein.

Inflation targeting and Inflation Tax in selected Countries of the World
This Study examines the effect of inflation targeting policy on inflation tax in selected countries of the world. For this purpose panel data model was used in 36 selected countries during 2003-2009. Also by using mean difference test, the inflation tax for three years before and after inflation targeting was examined. Results suggested an inverse relationship between inflation targeting and the inflation tax by Friedman method. In addition, results of mean difference test for all countries and for each country separately, unexpectedly suggested an increase in inflation tax in the most countries after implementation of inflation targeting policies. In addition results of mean difference test for all countries and for each country separately suggested after implementation of inflation targeting policies, inflation tax is rising. In other words we can say that inflation targeting policies has not been granted to reduce the inflation tax.
