Radiation and chemical effects on MHD flow through porous media past an impulsively started exponentially accelerated vertical plate with variable temperature in the presence of heat generation
Radiation and chemical effects on MHD flow through porous media past an impulsively started exponentially accelerated vertical plate with variable temperature in the presence of heat generation is studied here. The fluid considered is gray, absorbing-emitting radiation but a non-scattering medium. The governing equations involved in the present analysis are solved by Laplace transform techniques. The velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction and Nusselt number are studied for different parameters like thermal Grashof number, mass Grashof number, Schmidt number, magnetic field parameter, Prandtl number, radiation parameter, heat source parameter, permeability parameter chemical reaction parameter and time.

Drumlore of Opobo Kingdom: A Historical Interpretation
The problem of historical documentation has been with society since the ages. The response of African societies like Opobo to this trend has been to utilize various artistic mediums like drum language as repository of history. Through this approach the various traditions are passed on through time. This research x-rays the contributions of Drumlore to the rich history of Opobo Kingdom.

Ibani Deities and Methods of Worship: A Survey of Extinct Traditions in the Niger Delta, Nigeria
Opobo Kingdom founded in 1873 by King Jaja is an ancient Ibani Kingdom. The institutions in Opobo is similar to what exists in Bonny its ancestral home. The people are religious and worshiped various deities from the environment. This paper explores the various deities known to the Ibani people and how they were appeased or worshipped as a way of recording these for posterity. It concludes by working at the impact of Christianity on these deities.

Review on absorption enhancement of aqua ammonia systems
This paper reviews the absorption enhancement of the aqua ammonia systems by various technologies like mechanical treatment, chemical treatment and nanotechnology. By using mechanical enhancement we can reduce size of the absorber by 48.7%, by using chemical treatment the absolute absorption can be increase by 8% than pure water. And the nano- solution is more effective than pure solution. However, the combined treatment with both surfactant and nanoparticles is recommended to improve the absorption performance for practical applications.

Implementing Six Sigma Approach for Quality Evaluation of a RMC Plant
Today, the consumption of Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) is rapidly increasing in India owing to the rapid growth in Infrastructural and Real Estate sectors. Supplying concrete with desired quality consistently has become a great challenge for the RMC suppliers. Hence, the evaluation as well as monitoring the quality of RMC production is critical. this paper is an attempt to a apply the Six Sigma DMAIC approach to a RMC Plant in Chakhan, Pune. The sigma level of the existing plant has been evaluated. Also the production is Statistically analyzed using various tools such as X bar chart and R charts and the process capability index has also been reported.

Mathematical modeling for L-methionine fermentation by a mutant strain of Corynebacterium glutamicum X300
In this present investigation, a mathematical model has been developed for shake-flask fermentation of L-methionine by a multiple analogue resistant strain Corynebacterium glutamicum X300. Using computer simulation, different parameters of kinetic model were evaluated. The kinetic model developed in this present investigation revealed better assumptions for bacterial growth, L-methionine accumulation and substrate utilization compared to the assumptions as predicted in the available literature.Sensitivity analysis revealed that the predicted model has heighest impact on L-methionine fermentation. In this present study, non-growth associated product formation coefficient had maximum inhibitory effect on L-methionine fermentation.

Innovation in Creative Technology: Academic and Creative Economy
This paper reports the conceptual of innovation in creative technology in aspect of academic and creative economy. Creative industries have become the government's main agenda in achieving the vision 2020. The establishment of National Creative Industry Policy is proof that the government is serious in their efforts to uplift the creative industry to a higher level. Therefore, to ensure the government has met their mission, the education system must play their role to support the goal.

Torque Measurement Equipment for Car Steering
Deterioration of mechanical components in locomotives is evident over kilometers covered. A Number of factors are responsible for this deterioration; wear out of components (Life of Components) over kilometers covered, Reaction due to dust accumulation & change of material properties due to open air weathering. Hence we design a equipment to measure the steering force of automotives.

A threat to environmental ethics: a case study of the angami tribe of kohima district, Nagaland
Each culture has an environmental code to maintain a harmonious relationship between man and nature ensuring the well-being, and material and cultural enrichment of the society. With the entry of industrialism and consumerism, man has become a factor of production and nature a resource only to be exploited for meeting man’s never ending greed. Also, Science and technology has placed an enormous power in the hands of man and this in turn is posing a threat to the different moral codes of conduct of human beings which directly or indirectly are responsible for the environmental degradation. Kohima district of Nagaland which is located in the north eastern most part of India is the home of the Angami tribe, and has a sub-tropical climatic condition. The Angami tribe lies between the border of Manipur state in the south towards the north of Rengma tribe and also spreads along the west towards Dimapur District National Highway 39 passing through Kohima and going towards Imphal in Manipur, cuts across the higher slopes of Japfii range and transverses the entire area under study roughly in north-south direction whereas National Highway 61 passes along the north direction connecting the northern Angami region with the town and also with the rest of the district making the region an easy prey to any cultural and socio-economic changes. Consequently, sustainable environmental ethics which the different communities of the region were equipped with for protecting the environment in the past are now losing ground in this rapid changing world. Sensing the danger ahead, the present study is an attempt to evaluate the precious environmental ethics which protect the region environment and the reasons responsible for the loosening of the grip of environmental ethics in the region.

Consumer Knowledge, Perception and Acceptability of Fresh Cut-Fruits and Irradiated Fruits in Ghana
Fruits are important elements of a healthy, balanced diet, be it as part of a main meal or as a snack. The quest for ready-to-eat fruits has resulted in cut-fruits such as pawpaw, watermelon and pineapple in the Ghanaian fruit market. However, the safety and quality of these products cannot be guaranteed due to the mode of preparation and packaging. These products have longer shelf life when properly preserved and, therefore, assure all year round availability of fruits in different forms. The objective of this study was to assess consumer knowledge, perception and acceptance of fresh-cut fruits and irradiated fruits in Ghana. This was a cross-sectional study involving respondents in Accra (a cosmopolitan city). Information was collected by an open-ended questionnaires administration. The responses were coded and analyzed using SPSS Statistical Software Version 16. The results revealed that consumption of fruits and cut-fruits in Greater Accra is relatively high. It showed that 94.5 % of the respondents like fruits of all kinds. Mango was the most preferred (40.5 %) and 79 % of respondents preferred the seedling (local) mango to the grafted (exotic) variety. More tertiary educated people (48 %) consume fruits than others. More people (69 %) always buy cut-fruits and more males (63.5 %) patronize cut-fruits than females. People between the ages of 21 – 30 years patronize more cut-fruits and only 52 % of the respondents have heard about irradiated fruits, however, only 47 % would buy irradiated fruits because they are hygienic and safe. Others associated irradiation with radioactivity. The knowledge of fruits irradiation is very low in Ghana however; the consumption of fresh cut- fruits is high.
