Remarks on Weak compactness via Grills
In this paper we define sets G-weakly compact relative to a topological space through ?-open sets. Further we investigate the relationships between these sets and G ?-weakly compact subspaces.

The shift in women’s occupational roles in Hollywood action movies across three eras of Hollywood
This study examines the occupational roles of women in 30 action movies across three eras of classical, post-classical and new Hollywood. Employing critical discourse analysis as an analytical framework, the study investigates action movies from 1930 to 2012 to follow these objectives: (1) to find out types of women’s occupational roles, (2) to examine verbal and non-verbal elements in women’s representation, (3) to trace significant changes in occupational roles of female characters across three eras of Hollywood. Findings showed that female characters provided examples of positive and non-traditional role models. Women’s new representations challenged stereotypical assumptions concerning the occupational roles of women in the classical and post-classical eras.

Theoretical evaluation and comparative study of ultrasonic velocities in binary liquid mixtures of o-chlorophenol with o, p-xylenes and o-chlorotoulene at different temperatures
Ultrasonic velocities and densities of the binary liquid mixtures of o-chlorophenol with o-xylene, p-xylene and o-chlorotoulene have been measured over the entire composition range of mole fractions at a temperature range from 303.15 to 318.15 K with an interval of 5 K. The theoretical values of ultrasonic velocity were evaluated by using Nomoto (NOM), Impedance (IMP), Van Deal and Vangeel (VDV), Junjie (JUN), Rao’s specific velocity (RAO) models. The results were discussed in terms of non-ideality in the mixtures, molecular interaction parameter, Relative deviation ? and Chi-square (?2) test for the goodness of the fit is applied to understand the applicability of these theories to the present systems.

The effect of adopting an English name at EFL Iranian elementary schools
Having a nickname or an English name in English classes in Iran is common. In this qualitative research the participants are 112 elementary pupils, only nine percent of which hasn’t adopted an English name. Based on a questionnaire which was selected in this study most of the names of the pupils are chosen by the students themselves and by the help of their English teacher at school. Some of them choose unusual names like HI or HELLO even girls choose male names. Having an English name gives them a great interest when their teacher or their classmates call them with their English names. Even though those who had an English name were not aware of the meaning of their names or the reason of choosing the names, they like to have nickname. The students believe that having an English name and in some percentage knowing its meaning motivates them to learn better.

Formulation, standardization, organoleptic evaluation of natural galactogogue mix and it’s impact on prolactin levels
To assess the effectiveness of naturally prepared galactogogue mix on breast milk production and prolactin levels in postnatal mothers. Natural Fenugreek and Garlic based Galactogogue mixes were formulated and standardized. Organoleptic evaluation of the same mixes was also conducted by a ten panel members. Followed by this, 30 mother-infant pairs were assigned into 3 groups. Group I (n=10) consisted of mothers who were receiving galactagogue mix containing fenugreek every day, Group II (n=10) consisted of mothers who were receiving galactagogue mix containing garlic every day and Group 3 (n=10) were assigned as control group. The intervention was carried out for seven days, the baseline and post treatment serum prolactin levels of the mothers were determined using a standard protocol. Organoleptic scores of Garlic galactogogue mix was superior than Fenugreek galactogogue mix attributing to its bitter taste. The mean measured serum prolactin levels of the mothers who received galactagogue mixes were higher than the control group (p<0.05). Galactogogue mixes using natural ingredients especially fenugreek seeds were found be highly acceptable and supplementation of these galactagogue mixes seems to be useful for enhancing breast milk production.

Properties of soils developed on charnockite in ekiti state, Nigeria
Soil samples were collected from charnockitic soils of Ekiti state, Nigeria by random sampling using the soil map of Ekiti state as a guide. Surface samples and sub surface samples were dug covering about 100ha. The soils were sandy to loamy sand on the surface to sandy clay in the sub-soil. All the pedons, show consistently increasing clay with depth, pointing to argillic horizon development. Chemical analysis shows that the soil are characterized by high base saturation (>35% by NH4 OAc). The CEC, organic carbon, available phosphorus (Bray1) and total nitrogen were generally low. Most of the nutrient elements decreased with increase in depth.

Simple route to the synthesis Y2O3:Eu3+ nanoparticles like-spheres
In the present work, Y2O3:Eu3+ nanoparticles like-spheres have been synthesized via simple method. Synthesis conditions such as calcination temperature and the additive 2,3-dihyrosybutanedioic acid are played a role for synthesizing Y2O3:Eu3+ nanoparticles with superior optical properties. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) studies have been carried out to understand surface morphological features and the particle size. The as-obtained nanoparticles have average crystallite size ranging between 25 to 45 nm. Crystal structure of the nanoparticles has been investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. The incorporation of Eu3+ activator in these nanoparticles has been checked by luminescence characteristics, establishing that the main emission peak located at 613 nm corresponds to the hypersensitive forced electric dipole transition between 5D0 and 7F2 level of Eu3+ ions.

Evaluation of the phytochemicals and microbial inhibitory properties of Piper guineensii and Buchhloziacoriacea seeds of Nigerian Origin
To solve the problem of microbial outbreak which is a major challenge to human health in developing countries like Nigeria, herbal drugs are being looked as an imperative source for discovery of new agents for treating various ailments related to microbial infections. In this present study, the seeds of Piper guineensii and Buchhloziacoriacea were evaluated for their phytochemical constituents and antimicrobial properties. The phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of alkaloids, saponins and reducing sugar in the two plants while others like tannin, flavonoids and steroids were also observed interchangeably. The broad spectrum of the antimicrobial activities of the two seeds proved them to be active against various pathogens tested. The outcome of this workis a good evidence to support ethno-medicinal uses of these plants in the treatment of various diseases.

The role of culture- specific items in translation of children's literature: A case study of Alice’s adventures in wonderland
Cultural aspects devote a degree of significant importance in translation studies to themselves. This research tries to shed light on three important notions: culture, translation and children's literature (ChL). Translating cultural items has always been a delicate matter for translation scholars; however, translating these items in ChL makes the work more sensitive. The main purpose of the researcher in this study is to focus on the strategies applied by two Persian translators, namely; Hasan Honarmandi and Zoya Pirzaad, when facing CSIs in rendition of the book "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". Having discovered 150 CSIs in the book and having sorted them according to Newmark's five categories for CSIs, the researcher found out that "cultural equivalent" was employed more frequently than the other translation strategies by the translators. Finally, by calculating the number of total strategies applied by the translators, the researcher identified that they were inclined toward domestication rather than foreignization in their translations of the book.
