A two-warehouse stock control model for perfect quality goods with quantity discounts
Stock control is an act of stocking goods to satisfy expected future demand. This gives rise to the problem of “how much and when to place order for new goods when stock is going down. Decision regarding the quantity ordered and the time at which it is ordered is based on minimizing an appropriate cost function to balance the total cost function resulting from overstocking or under stocking. Quantity discount stimulates the interest of the distributor to stock more goods and hence the need for additional warehouse which may increase his holding cost. This work has considered inventory using two warehouses-owners and rented warehouses. A model similar to that of Tien Yu Lin (2011) is developed. It has been shown that optimal order quality that minimizes the expected total cost is obtained. The consequence of the limit of the holding cost of the rented warehouse on the optimal order size is also given.

Agricultural product development by implementation of Project Based Learning module at Politeknik Kota Bharu Malaysia
This article provides a short introduction to Project based Learning (PjBL) that are significant in the mechanical engineering students project MR02/07 development for agricultural product and typical of socio-constructivist of student approaches. The objectives of using PjBL module is producing innovative product by implementation PjBL concept. These project methods will describe deeply the process of development chopper machine with specified code MR02/07. By using PjBL module the process will drive directly from first to the end. Guided with BIE approach and reference models, PjBL module create new 21 century learning era with guided in project development to meet engineering standard and completed on time. It’s works smoothly with guided forms at PjBL module instrument. Engineering students will fulfill the mastery learning in engineering project development methods when use PjBL module for their product development. Please, see project-based learning (PjBL) module that develop for engineering project development at Mechanical Department, Politeknik Kota Bharu, Malaysia.

Algorithmic Modelling of Boosted Regression Trees’ on Environment’s Big Data
In tackling with a big dataset, a new and better approach is crucial to be used for. As in this paper, to develop an algorithm modelling for Boosted Regression Trees (BRT), author are decided to use the programming R statistical data analysis tool. The data used in this research, is a one-hour time range of data collected from 2009 up to 2012 for an environment station located at coastal-environment area somewhere in northern of Malaysia. Thus, step by step flowchart from the beginning till the objective been achieve, were provided, and created. Sensitive testing of model been carried out with the three main parameters. Only the number of trees (nt) is to be determine by using the method of estimating the optimal number of iterations; an independent test set (test), out-of-bag estimation (OOB), and five-fold CV. While the learning rate (lr) and interaction depth (tc) been fixed at 0.001 and 5 respectively. Results indicated that the BRT analysis algorithm best modelled with the best combination of parameters nt of 10000 together with lr and tc that achieves minimum predictive error (minimum error for predictions). Besides, with the boosting output of relative influence plot, and partial dependency plot, the variables significantly influenced Ozone are humidity, ambient temperature, NO, and wind speed with 61.72%, 18.17%, 10.27% and 4.5% respectively. The algorithm model for BRT produced by using the simulated data is best guidance to be used in the field of air pollution specifically. As a matter of fact, the BRT Algorithm can be modelled in varies field with big dataset.

Angiomyofibroblastoma of vulva
Angiomyofibroblastoma is a rare kind of soft tissue tumour; occurs usually in the vulva. It is usually confused with bartholin’s cyst because of its location. The other differentiating tumours arising in the vulval region is aggressive –angiomyxoma(AAM) and cellular angiofibroma.

Application of data mining to improve the efficiency of a search engine
It is a significant challenge to search, comprehend and use the semi-structured HTML, XML, database-service-engine information stored on the web. This data is more complex and dynamic than commercial databases’ data. Data mining has been applied to web-page ranking to supplement keyboard-based indexing. In this context, data mining improves the quality and efficiency of search results[1]. For the web to be at its best, we must improve its usability. Data mining can play a vital role in the development of intelligent web. It will make the web a more exhaustive, intuitive and intelligent, usable resource. The paper shows how data mining can be applied to discover and catalog important links and patterns that will make our web interactions directed and intelligent.

ASR For Embedded Real Time Applications
The system consists of a standard microprocessor and a hardware accelerator for Gaussian mixture model (GMM) emission probability calculation implemented on a field-programmable gate array. The GMM accelerator is optimized for timing performance by exploiting data parallelism. In order to avoid large memory requirement, the accelerator adopts a double buffering scheme for accessing the acoustic parameters with no assumption made on the access pattern of these parameters. Experiments on widely used benchmark data show that the real-time factor of the proposed system is 0.62, which is about three times faster than the pure software-based baseline system, while the word accuracy rate is preserved at 93.33%. As a part of the recognizer, a new adaptive beam-pruning algorithm is also proposed and implemented, which further reduces the average real-time factor to 0.54 with the word accuracy rate of 93.16%. The proposed speech recognizer is suitable for integration in various types of voice (speech)-controlled applications.

Biosynthesis of silver Nanoparticles from Glycyrrhiza Glabra root extract
Asingle-stepenvironmental friendly approach is employed to synthesize silver nanoparticles. The environmental friendly synthesis of nanoparticles process is a revolutionary step in the field of nanotechnology. In this study, the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles was carried out using Glycyrrhiza Glabra root extract as reducing agent. UV–visible spectroscopy was used for quantification of silver nanoparticle synthesis. The synthesized silver nanoparticles were characterized with Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersive X ray analysis (EDX), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).

Cold storage for preserving medicines by using thermoelectric refrigeration
Generally medicines must be stored and handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines in order to maintain the quality of the product. Storage outside the recommended temperature range can result in chemical and physical changes to the product which may lead to a loss of efficacy and may cause harm to the patients. In order to maintain such recommended temperatures we generally use vapour compression refrigeration systems. The main drawback is emission of CFC compounds (refrigerants) like R22 upon leakage which could produce harmful effects on environment like ozone depletion. This work aims at developing alternate system for producing refrigeration effect called Thermo Electric Refrigeration. Thermoelectric cooling devices utilize the Peltier effect, whereby the passage of a direct electric current through the junction of two dissimilar conducting materials causes the junction to either cool down (absorbing heat) or warm up (rejecting heat), depending on the direction of the current. Finally using this thermoelectric principle a cold storage is fabricated for preserving the medicines and tested. The minimum cooling temperatures obtained are 10°C at 36°C ambient temperature in 210 minutes that is 3 hours 30 minutes.
