Anti-Cholesterol Drugs and Statins
The statins (or HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors) along with other drugs, such as cholestyramine (Questran), comprise the class of hypolipidemic drugs. Hypolipidemic drugs are prescribed - sometimes aggressively so - to lower cholesterol levels in people with or at risk of cardiovascular disease and certain inflammatory diseases such as sarcoidosis. Statins are prescribed even though their full mechanisms of action remain unclear. One strong possibility is that statins exert their effects via the body's nuclear receptors, which are intricately connected to innate immune function. The statins have a range of documented negative effects, some of which may be immunopathological. Because statins may interfere with the Marshall Protocol, these drugs are contraindicated. Statins interfere with the actions of Olmesartan, as they are a very similar molecule, and compete with Olmesartan for many of Olmesartan's molecular binding sites. The actions of statins on the Nuclear Receptors are therefore competitive with Olmesartan, as they reduce or negate Olmesartan's therapeutic activities.

Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) Before Covariance Based PCA for Image De-noising
This paper describes an efficient approach of using (SVD) before covariance PCA. Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is a method of finding insignificant pixel values from an image. Though covariance PCA is used to de-correlate the original data set by extracting principle components of data set but there also left some noises. Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is a method that discards insignificant pixel values from an image without affecting the quality of the image. In this method a pixel and its nearest neighbors are considered as the training samples recognized by using block matching regarded as Local Pixel Grouping (LPG). Experimental result shows that the use of SVD before covariance based PCA demonstrate that the de-noising performance of image is improved compared with state-of-art de-noising algorithm.

Distribution and pollen characters of selected aquatic angiosperms of Pondicherry region, South India
The distribution of selected hydrophytes and their pollen morphology was carried out in six water bodies of Puducherry outskirts during the years 2006-07. Fifteen angiosperm species belonging to fifteen genera and fifteen families were identified (Aeschynomene indica, Aponogeton natans, Eichhornia crassipes, Ipomoea aquatica, Limnophila polystachia , Ludwigia adscendens, Nelumbo nucifera, Neptunia oleracea, Nymphaea pubescens, Nymphoides hydrophylla, Ottelia alismoides, Persicaria pulchra, Pistia stratiotes, Scirpus articulatus, Typha angustata). Many of the species observed were found in all the places studied. The mean number of pollen production per anther ranged from 847 to 41416. The pollen grains are mostly apolar or isopolar rarely heteropolar. The shape is commonly spheroidal or oblate-spheroidal rarely boat shaped (Nymphaea pubescens) and sub-prolate (Nelumbo nucifera). In Typha angustata the pollen grains are found in tetrads. Similarly exine sculpturing is also extremely varied ranging from reticulate to regulate. Apertures are mostly colpate or porate. The present study for the first time documents the diversity and pollen morphology of selected species in water bodies of the coastal environs.

The idea of the unity of existence in Mullah Hassan Hafy heravi lyrics
Unity of thought, one of the important issues in Islamic mysticism, and yet most complex topics have been discussed by scholars. Thinking unity in plurality, along with important topics such as the Holy God manifested in the form of mystical schools, including Islamic Sufism, has had a major role. Mohyodin Ibn Arabic, although it clearly and comprehensively, as fundamental for granted, has been introduced, but the Greek philosophical schools of thought and wisdom of the Alexandria and neo- Platonists existed. Translation of Gender Stereotypes in Animated Films: A Case Study of Shrek 2 and Ice Age 2
Full time television viewing may contribute significantly to children's acquisition of stereotypic perceptions of behavior and psychological characteristics associated with males and females. There has been research interest in how children might be effected by the sex role stereotypes. The trend has always been such that female characters are attributed to certain feminine acts in contrast with males whose stereotypes portrayed in children media are expected to be major and masculine. Children in particular spend a great amount of time watching TV and are related to the content of what they watch which shapes their perception. Contrary to traditional portrayal of sex-roles in animated films in which male characters are more likely to demonstrate physical aggression and leadership roles whereas female characters are more apt to demonstrate affection, romance, and supportive roles than are male, it has recently been observed a change occurring in the way sex-roles are represented in animated movies. To realize if this change also appears in the Persian dubbed version of animated films, this study is an attempt to analyze popular television cartoons produces from 1990 to 2012, comparing the original with the dubbed version and the way their portrayals of gender stereotypes undergo change across the two languages. To this end, instances extracted of sex-role stereotypes were extracted and subjected to comparison. It must be mentioned that the present article is a small part of the researcher’s MA thesis in which over one hundred animated movies were reviewed and analyzed completely (see the Appendix ). Only two of the analyzed animated movies, Shrek 2 and Ice Age 2, are discussed here. The results indicated that differences in the way the two versions portray sex-role stereotypes could be clearly indexed and categorized. The Persian dubbed version tended to ignore the worldwide occurring changes in portraying sex-roles.

Reading Strategies in Iranain EFL learners
Reading strategies are of interest for what they reveal about the way readers manage their interaction with written text and how these strategies are related to text comprehension. The aims of this study is to compare using of metacognitive strategies in reading skill by advanced, intermediate and elementary levels learners of English language. 200 Iranian EFL students both male and female were participated in this study. Their language proficiency level was classified to elementary, intermediate and advanced learners. It is convincing to mention that the participants were English major in teaching, translation and literature. The researcher utilized a questionnaire which was 22 items based on Likert Scale. The metacognitive reading strategies questionaire (MRSQ)is administered to investigate the frequency of participants'useof metacognitive reading strategies developed by Taraban,Kerr and Rynerson (2004). The results of the chi-square indicate that there is a significant relationship between the proficiency level of the students and their use of meta-cognitive strategies (x2 (8) = 74.67, P = .000 < .05). That is, as proficiency level increases the students make more use of meat-cognitive strategies. It should be also noted that gender as an independent variable in this study didn't cause any significant difference in the performance, i.e., we can claim that no significant differences between male and female students exist regarding the use of metacognitive strategies.
