Spectrophotometric determination of anionic detergents in the river gomti at jaunpur city
Detergents includes some surfactants like LAS (linear alkyl sulphonate), TPBS (Tetra Propylene derived alkyl Benzene Sulphonate), ABS (branched chain alkyl benzene sulphonate) etc. LAS is most widely used anionic detergents and it have biodegradable capacity, while ABS like surfactants are resistant to biodegradability. The present study specially aims to study spectrophotometerically the contamination level of water of river Gomti by the presence of anionic detergents flowing from the heart of Jaunpur city. In the river Gomti direct wastes like municipal garbage, sewage as well as industrial wastes is dumped without treatment. River Gomti is continuously been contaminated by the sewage and other types of wastes. This study revealed that there is gradual increase in the level of anionic detergents as we proceed from January to December along the years of study 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Designing web services communities with UML oriented agents
The incredible growth of the information space, the hard competition between enterprises populating it, the need to collaborate and to share knowledge guiding to better decisions are factors that push Web Services providers to join each other into Web Services communities. Solutions proposed to tackle communities’ management lack of a formal and clear design which may alter the system evolving and maintenance. For these reasons, we propose to design and to implement a system able to manage Web Services communities using an agent oriented approach. As illustration, we design and implement a case tool for managing e-health care Web Services communities.

Optical wired DWDM Based OFDM Design and simulation
In this paper we designed optical wired DWDM based OFDM design and simulation .The system whole setup is achieved by DWDM-OFDM for prefect SSMF optical wired communication (OFC) for 60 KM, using Due to increasing data traffic in network its required to design high effective spectral transmission. Here we implemented design with OFDM-DWDM due to own high spectral efficient property of 60 Gbps using 4- QAM.

Study the relationship between adiponectin with thyroid hormones and cortisol in Type 2 diabetic patients (NIDDM)
Thyroid hormones has profound effects of lipid metabolism and carbohydrate homeostasis . Abnormalities in serum lipids and lipoproteins are frequent findings in thyroid dysfunction, mainly in hypothyroidism. Impaired glucose tolerance and insulin resistance have been documented in patients with thyroid dysfunction. In addition, thyroid hormones are remarkable regulators of energy metabolism, being the adipose tissue the largest fuel storage compartment. Furthermore, thyroid hormones share some physiological actions with adiponectin, such as reduction of body fat by increasing thermogenesis and lipid oxidation .However, a few number of studies have found low adiponectin levels in hypothyroid subjects (Díez and Iglesias, 2009). Cortisol excess in man is characterized by abdominal obesity, hypertension, glucose intolerance or diabetes and dyslipidemia. All these features share a state of insulin resistance, and contribute to high cardiovascular risk typical of this condition. Glucocorticoids negatively regulate adiponectin mRNA in human visceral adipose tissue. Cortisol counteracts the action of insulin at multiple sites, and increases hepatic gluconeogenetic efficiency (Fallo et al.,2004). Study the relationship between adiponectin with thyroid hormones and cortisol for both gender and for both control and diabetic groups also in diabetic patients according to duration of disease. This study was conducted between November 2010- November 2012 and, it was carried out at the diabetic Centre / Merjan Teaching Hospital in Babel Province by taking 120 diabetic patients(Type II DM) (60 male and 60 female) with disease duration (0-5),(>5-10 )and (>10 )years ,with age average (30-65 year)and most of them were on oral hypoglycemic drugs. While the study included 40 people apparently healthy that included 20 male and 20 female with age average (30-65 year).

Separation of Titanium from Industrial Waste by Falcon Concentrator as Enhanced Gravity Separation
The Falcon SB-40 concentrator is an enhanced-gravity separator used in mineral beneficiation, as their superior gravity field enables them to separate particles within narrow classes of density and size. The process of cutting and finishing garnet mineral produces industrial waste as a fine powder mixture of garnet with a few percent of titanium carbide which is derived from titanium blades. This study aims to shed light on the Falcon concentrator’s ability to separate particles within density ranges lower than usual. Specific gravity of the fractions is 3.7 and 4.9 gm/cm3. Various operating conditions such as bowl speed (G force), water pressure, pulp solid ratio and pulp feed rate were investigated. It was shown that under optimized conditions the Falcon SB-40 concentrator can produce an excellent titanium concentrate with titanium carbide of 92.2 % from a feed waste of about 5% titanium carbide with total recovery of 97%.

Securing AODV against worm hole attack using token based approach
In present scenario, ad hoc network become the prominent mode of communication for mobile devices. Hence, becoming a elementary field of research. Since ad hoc networks are infrastructure less networks and the nodes in ad hoc networks are connected by a wireless links. As nodes are connected by wireless links, its becomes easier for attacker to disrupt in the ad hoc networks. Therefore security is the major issue in ad hoc networks as compared to wired network. In this paper, we are discussing the various attacks which are possible in MANET due to fabrication and worm hole attack in AODV and how to secure AODV against wormhole attack using token based approach. The propose method reduces the packet loss due to malicious nodes to a considerable extent and hence enhance the performance.

Effect of Hematocrit on Wall Shear Stress for Blood Flow through Tapered Artery
The purpose of this study to show the effects of Hematocrit (Red blood cells), height of stenosis, porous parameter and velocity of blood on wall shear stress of the flow of blood through tapered artery. The study reveals that wall shear stress reduces for increasing Hematocrit percentage. It is also observed that wall shear stress increases as stenosis height and porous parameter increase whereas it decreases with the increasing values of velocity of blood and slope of tapered artery.

Pattern of growth among boys during adolescence: a Profile from an urban region in South India
This study aimed to assess the growth pattern of adolescent boys in Mysore city in south India. In this cross sectional study anthropometric profile of 1083 boys aged 10- 18years was measured and compared to 50th centiles of W.H.O standards for height and weight and the measurement of MUAC and SFT were compared to NHANES standard. Self-reporting questionnaire to obtain data related to family socioeconomic status and personal information was implemented. The increase in height exhibited linearity from 10 to 18 years of age, mean height was 141.8?1.56 cms in boys aged 10years while boys aged 18 year had a mean height of 172.2± 7.15 cms The mean weight at age 10 was 31.7± 3.10 kgs and at 18 years the mean body weight was 58.6± 9.04 kg. In this study population the mean BMI was15.63±2.21 at the age 10 and increased to 19.71 ± 2.42 at age 18th year The mean MUAC at the age 10 was 19.6±1.72 cm and skin fold at triceps was 11.07±3.5 mm. These participate boys were shorter and lighter in all the stages of adolescences as compared to reference, although the difference for height was smaller than that seen for weight. BMI, of boys in all age groups was lower as compare to the W.H.O references.

Phenotypic Diversity for Qualitative Characters of Some Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) Germplasm
Barley is believed to have originated in Abyssinia (Ethiopia) and Southeast Asia .Sixty four barley genotypes were tested in 8x8 simple lattice design at Atsbi, Ofla and Quiha environments in Tigray region, in 2009/10. The overall objective was to determine the nature and degree of variability in morpho- agronomic traits of barley germplasm. Three types of seed/kernel colors, as quality criteria observed were white, tan/red and black in the percentage of 96.87%, except the genotypes Eritrea07 1, and ISEBON 14 with a seed color of tan red and black respectively added to the variability of 1.56% each. From this study, 60.69 % found as two-row type, 31.26% six-row types and 7.81% irregular type across locations. It was observed that from these barley genotypes had a spike density of which 6.25% were lax, 64.06% intermediate and 29.69% dense. All the testing entries were awnletted and the caryopsis or kernel covering with a percentage of the genotypes were, 21.88%, 10.94% and 65.64% stands for naked, semi-covered and covered types respectively across locations. The phenotypic diversity index values for qualitative traits ranged from 0.0 (monomorphic) for lemma/ hood to 0.86 high polymorphic for row number, for awn color (H’= 0.71), kernel covering (H’=0.84) and spike density (H’=0.82) revealed the highest diversity. Glume color (H’=0.34) and gain color (H’=0.16), relatively showed the lowest diversity

Plasma fibrinogen Level in normal pregnant Sudanese women
Background: The parity is the number of times that she has given birth to a fetus with a gestational age of (24) weeks or more, regardless of whether the child was born alive or was stillborn. The aim of this study is to shed more like on the role of effect parity on fibrinogen level. Objectives: study the effect of parity on the plasma fibrinogen in normal pregnant Sudanese women, and determination of levels of plasma fibrinogen in pregnant women Material and method: cross- sectional study was conducted at Algazera& Khartoum states during October to November 2015. (120) normal pregnant women with age ranging (20 – 42) years, classified as (60) non pregnant women (nullparas) as control group, (30) multiparae and (30) grand multipara’s. Results: The concentration of fibrinogen in the multiparae mean (6.20) as compared to (8.52) mg/dl in the control group (P.value 0.266) was insignificant, Grand multipara mean (3.77) as compared to (8.52) mg/dl in the control group (P.value 0.015) were significantly decreased compared to control.Conclusion: Normal pregnant multipara and grand multipara women fibrinogen levels are lower than in aged matched with non pregnant women. These changes are not directly associated with lipid metabolism during pregnancy (8).
