The P-Value models with its mathematical formulas and solution-boxes
The P-Value models were designed by the researcher to teach Place Values in mathematics. The P-Value models are tools which is methodology in nature. It depicts yet another / alternative practical way of teaching Place Values in Mathematics to the usual / known method (Appendix A; Appendix B) of teaching Place Value (Kumassah, 2012; Price 2002; Price, 2001). The mathematical formulas of the P-Value models shows the step (s) / movement (s) involved in arriving at a specific number (s) / figure (s) and also the total / sum / overall number (s) / figure (s) in each P-Value models. The mathematical formulas of the P-Value models can be employed in teaching and used at the industry level. The researcher is of the view that the use of the P-Value models may help teachers teach Place Value effectively and students learn meaningfully of Place Values in mathematics. The P-Value model solution-boxes serve as a calculator to the actual calculators. It gives the same answers as that of the actual calculators and also shows and reveals the hidden mathematical operations of the actual calculator. Instead of a student manipulating the hidden operations of an actual calculator, with the P-Value model solution-box he/she practically sees and manipulates that hidden operations of a calculator.

The Relationship between Cultural Intelligence and Socio-cultural Adjustment: An Empirical Study on International Students in The Northern University of Malaysia
The main purpose of this study was to explore the role of Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and its effect on international students’ sociocultural adjustment in the context of pursuing education in higher learning institutions in Malaysia; specifically in Universiti Utara Malaysia. The data used for this study derived from the questionnaire survey conducted randomly among the international students in Northern University of Malaysia who came from 27 different nationalities. A total number of 397 valid responses were successfully obtained. The descriptive analysis, reliability analysis and correlation analysis were undertaken in this study. Strategy CQ (Metacognitive), Drive CQ (Motivation) and Action CQ (Behavioural) were found to be negatively related to sociocultural adjustment. Only one of the dimensions for CQ; Knowledge CQ (Cognitive), was found to influence sociocultural adjustment. Finally, limitations of the study and direction for future of the studies are discussed.

Vikram Seth: Globalized Indian, viewing the modern world through a prism
This paper focuses the research deliberations of the Vikram Seth’s novels, A Suitable Boy, An Equal Music and The Golden Gate operating within the frame work of an imaginary, traditional society. Vikram Seth’s protagonists who are mostly men and women from urban middle class reflect that they are conscious of their predicament as individuals in the society. In view of all this, Vikram Seth the writer, if certainly not 'one thing', still more 'some things' than others? A tentative answer is that Seth's perspective is increasingly that of a globalized Indian, viewing the modern world through a prism that may be multicolored but is, ultimately, made in Asia. His first book, the tale of an Indian in China, today seems uncannily predictive of current geopolitical and economic trends, with the twin ascent of India and China now a key theme of the emerging century. By now, he clearly feels entitled to interpret the West, to both Western and Eastern readers, with a confidence and authority that betoken an Asia and an India that no longer consider themselves subordinate.

“Abnormal origin of the Right Subclavian Artery from the Right Pulmonary Artery” - embryological basis and its clinical importance
Isolation of the right subclavian artery occurs when the right subclavian artery takes origin from the pulmonary artery through a ductus arteriosus. The right subclavian artery normally takes origin from the brachiocephalic trunk, specifically the brachiocephalic artery, however due to this anomaly it takes origin from the pulmonary trunk, specifically the right pulmonary artery. As a result of this aortic arch malformation, there is a continuous filling of blood of blood into the right pulmonary artery; this phenomenon is known as subclavian steal phenomenon. As blood continues to flow in the right pulmonary artery, it gives rise to other complication s such as pulmonary over circulation.

“Exstrophy-Epispadias Complex”-Embryological basis and its clinical significance
The term exstrophy-epispadias is mainly coined due to the group of congenital abnormalities such as, bladder-exstrophy and cloacal-exstrophy. Because of the presence of abnormal opening into the cloaca, all embryos were considered by an abnormal widening of caudal trunk at the level of the leg buds which, in the youngest embryos, was associated with the abnormal presence of large aneurysmatic swellings of the dorsal aortae at this side.

A giant lipoma of the thigh: a case report
Soft tissue tumors, benign or malignant, are often seen and diagnosed at a stage they become clinically gigantic or when traditionnal treatments undertaken prove their unefficiency. Authors wanted to illustrate this fact by relating the observation a giant lipoma of the thigh. The authors report in this study the observation of a 48 year old patient with a painless swelling of the left thigh evolving for 35 years and gradually increased in size, without repercussion on the function or the General state. Palpation founds a tumor in the anterolateral region of the left thigh. Radiography shows the shadow of the tumor with bone integrity. For reasons of lack of resources, MRI could not be done. Histology confirmed the diagnosis. A giant lipoma of 2900 grams measuring 27x18 cm.anatomopathology reconfirms the diagnosis.

A Review on Consumer Purchase Intention of Solar Panel in Malaysia
Solar energy has a bright potential to be the clean source of energy for the future. This paper presents a review on the literature found of the solar panel industry in Malaysia followed by identification of possible factors that may influence consumer’s purchase intention of the green product. The review exercise found perceived government policy, perceived costs and maintenance, product knowledge and experience, solar panel aesthetics, social influence, environmental concern, environmental attitude, product benefits as well as demographic factors (such as education level and income) as possible influencing factors for solar panel. The review outcomes are beneficial particularly for solar panel marketers and businesses who can develop proper planning and strategies to market this product from the consumer’s behaviour insights gained to help the renewable energy industry to grow.

A simple hydrothermal route for synthesizing copper Selenide Nano-Flakes
Cu2Se particles have been synthesized by the hydrothermal method at a temperature of 200° C. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by a variety of techniques like XRD, UV, FTIR, SEM and EDAX. Experimental data reveals that the final product almost consists of hexagonal flakes in the [111] plane. The estimated optical band gap for the particles was found to be within the reported range.
