Vector autoregressive model for monitoring carbondioxide (CO2) emission from the consumption of fossil fuels
The main source of the Nigerian energy generation is the non-renewable source (which includes the burning of Fossil fuels). Fossil fuels (Coal, Natural gas and Petroleum) are being consumed and certain chemical compounds such as CO2 are emitted into the atmosphere. The objective of this research is to examine the trend of CO2 emission from the consumption of Fossil fuels and fitting a model for monitoring the process. Vector Autoregressive Model (VAR) was developed. The Portmanteau test for serial correlation and the Wald test for Granger-causality were carried out. VAR (1) fit the data. The Portmanteau test showed that error term are serially uncorrelated. The Wald test, showed that CO2 emission from Coal Granger-cause emission from Natural gas and Petroleum and vice-versa. The emission from Natural gas does not Granger-cause emission from Petroleum.

Analysis of single phase inverter based welding machine using PIC
Single Phase Inverter Based Welding Machine employ resonant high frequency IGBT inverter technology. Due to soft switching scheme, these machines are very rugged and efficient. Currently 1-Phase 160A, 1-Phase 200A, All the TIG machines have built in high frequency igniter circuit for non - contact arc initiation. All these welding machines have Special feature to shut down the internal electronic circuit when machine is kept idle, This feature enhances the life time of machines. Due to such features, Single phase welding machine is having light and saves the electricity up to 60%. Having used for current 20 to 200 A. This machine is moisture free dc welding. The input characteristics are similar to AC, having features such as high max output voltage, stable against voltage fluctuations. Inner loop control for quick system respondence, Peak current control mode make the power devices and stable, against frequent short circuit shocks, Arc thrust function, improve the metal transfer Hot arc ignition function small light and energy saving.

Modelling relationship between students’ pre and post-admission performances
Many researchers have carried out research on students’ academic performances in the University system, but there is dearth of information about models which focus on the relationship between students pre and post admission performances. This paper was therefore designed to model relationship between students’ pre and post admission performances. Information on pre admission performances (Olevel, Jamb and Post-Jamb results) and post-admission performances (100L – 400L results) of students’ in Statistics Department, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria was collected from students’ file. Correlation matrix and Canonical Correlation analysis were used to know the degree of relationship that exists between the pre and post admission performances. The principal component analysis was employed to reduce the multidimensional data. Scree plot was used to determine the spread of the trend of the components and bi plot was used to determine the degree of closeness of the students’ pre and post admission performances. There is no relationship between pre and post admission performances. Also, no strong relationship among pre admission performances, while the relationship among post admission performances is very high. Post admission performances are highly related to students’ CGPA. The proportion of variance accounted for by the first, second and third principal Components are 50.7542%, 16.5712% and 15.6224% respectively with cumulative proportion of 82.95%. The first, second and third components are chosen. The seven components were reduced to three. Post admission performances are closely related and stand as the determinant of students’ class of degree.

Analysis of three phase inverter based welding machine using PIC
Three phase inverter based welding machine employ resonant high frequency IGBT inverter technology. Due to soft switching scheme, these machines are very rugged and efficient. Currently 3-Phase 160A, 3-Phase 200A, All the TIG machines have built in high frequency igniter circuit for non - contact arc initiation. Role of working capital management in corporate profitability: a case of manufacturing sector
The main objective of the study is to empirically examine the impact of working capital management on Pakistani manufacturing corporate profitability. The study uses a sample of randomly selected companies from three manufacturing sectors i.e. consumer goods, chemical and construction & material for the period of five years ranging from 2006 to 2010. The correlation and panel data regression analysis were used to analyze the impact of working capital management on the corporate profitability. The results indicate that, the average collection period of account receivables, inventory conversion period and cash conversion cycle have strong negative relationship with corporate profitability while the current ratio has positive relationship with operating profit. The study also finds that the firm size and current assets to total assets ratio has significant positive relationship with corporate profitability. Findings indicate that finance manager can improve the firm profitability by focusing on each component of working capital. More specifically they can improve the firm profitability by reducing account receivable period, inventory conversion period and cash conversion cycle. We also find that average collection period is the most crucial component of working capital. So the manger can add value to the firm by fastening the account receivable conversion period.

Insertion opportunities of agricultural insurance in the Republic of Armenia
The territory of Republic of Armenia is considered as a high-risk zone of agricultural production. According to approximate calculations, damage to agriculture as a result of natural disasters in various years reaches 15-20 billion AMD (410 AMD=1$ USA), while in most disastrous year it also exceeds. Given these circumstances, we come to the conclusion that the agricultural sector is needed to establish on effective system of insurance, in addition to the process of insurance provided by the state’s direct participation in the process of implementation of agricultural insurance. In our opinion, the agricultural insurance will significantly contribute to the guaranteed production of the agricultural products, will reduce agricultural losses, will minimize the degree of risks, which will stimulate the development of this sector.

Undergraduate students’ perception of the final year project supervisory process: a case study at a private university in Malaysia
The purpose of this paper is to understand undergraduate students’ perception of the Final Year Project’s supervisory process. A survey was carried out to elicit the students’ views to gain an insight into their experience during the supervision process. The sample consisted of 91 students in a private university in Malaysia. The participants’ responses were analyzed according to the research questions and recurring themes. Only these factors are affected by gender of students: area of expertise of supervisors, timely feedback, duration of the research project and the number of meetings with supervisors. The implications of these findings are discussed. A number of implications were derived for theory, practice, and further research.

In search of their rights: a womanistic reading of lorraine hansberry’s a raisin in the sun
Hansberry's play A Raisin in the Sun is about the experience of an African American family who struggles against racism and tries to keep their dignity. It discusses racial, sexual, social, and economical discriminations on black community and individuals. The main black characters were not happened to be female but they were chosen preciously to present the challenges that black women confront within the racist and patriarchal society of America. Hansberry, a black female writer, utilized her masterpiece A Raisin in the Sun as a platform to present her womanistic ideas that inherited from her master, Dubois. Following Dubois’ ideas on womanism, this study undertakes to examine the plays’ representation of black women’s experience of discriminations .It further highlights the rights and the true image of black women who are twice oppressed by gender and race in the American society.
