Translation of Marked Word Order from English into Persian: Nida’s Dynamic Equivalence in Literary translation
This paper investigates how marked structures in an English literary text are translated into its Persian equivalents. The research questions in this paper focus on the problematic differences between the translation of thematic sentences from English into Persian. In doing so, a corpus of English novelistic prose (The Heart of Darkness) was investigated along with its Persian translation. The model guiding the analysis was Nida’s notion of dynamic equivalence, which specifically emphasizes the effects that a translated text has on its target audience. To conduct the analysis, five categories of thematized sentences (passive, adjunct front, cleft, pseudo-cleft, topicalized) were considered. Results showed that passivation was the most frequently used thematized structure among the categories. Furthermore, it was found that translator had rendered original marked structures in the English text into both marked and unmarked Persian structures.

Assessment of Heavy Metal Pollution and Contaminants of River Palar
The present study was conducted to quantitatively measure the levels of Cr, Pb, Cd, As, Ni and Hg in soil, fodder and meat samples. The study area chosen for the present study is sewage polluted River Palar flowing sites. Two sites were chosen for this work, Site 1 (Palar, Ambur) and Site 2 (Palar, Vaniyambadi). Fresh samples were collected from the study area. Heavy metals like Cr, Cd, Pb, As, Ni and Hg were analysed using atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). In the present study Pb, Cr, Cd, Ni and Hg concentration in Site 1 was high when compare with Site 2, except As which shows high concentration in Site 2. This result indicates Site 1 in heavily polluted than Site 2. Results of meat sample shows that Pb, Cd, Cr and Hg values are higher than the permissible limit, especially Ni. In the same way the results of soil sample shows Cd, Pb, Cr, Hg and Ni levels were higher than the allowed limits. Pb concentration was very higher than other metals. In fodder sample the levels of Cd, As and Hg are higher than the permissible limit.

Synthesis of Cinnemaldine-aniline and Kinetic study
The second order reaction rate constant for the reaction of Cinnemaldehyde with aniline have been reported in ethanol in the temperature range 303 to 318 k .The rate of reaction is first order with respect to Cinnemaldehyde and first order with respect to aniline. Increase in temperature increases the rate of reaction. The thermodynamic parameters are used to explain the nature of reaction .Suitable reaction mechanism has been suggested for the formation of the Schiff base.

Bioleaching of Ni from Industrial Sludge
Electroplating sludge contains huge of Ni. Bioleaching is found to be the best method to remove heavy metals. But, the temperature play vital role. In the present study, the influence of temperatures on the removal of Ni from electroplating sludge was investigated using bacteria, Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans. Results showed that the maximum of 90.5% Ni was removed from the sludge under the temperature maintained at 37 °C. It was found that the rate constants obtained for Ni bioleaching at 37 °C was high.

Degradation of Textile Effluent Using Green Technology and Tio2 Nanocatalyst
The Photocatalytic process is one of the important green engineering concepts employed for treating the waste water from industries. This paper presents an overview of Photocatalytic degradation of textile effluents in industries by titania (TiO2). TiO2nanocatalystwas synthesized using sonochemical method. This Nanocatalyst was characterized using SEM, XRD &TGA. An Effluent from the textile contains hazardous compounds such as ethyl sulphonic and sulphonic groups which cause severe water pollution. Photocatalytic degradation using Tio2nanophotocatalyst based adsorbent as a semiconductor in a batch reactor. Experiments were performed to observe the extent of photocatalytic degradation of textile effluents by analyzing different parameters. The effluents were degraded and nearly 96% of colour reduction was observed. Experiments were also conducted to optimize the amount of catalyst used during this process. This process is a very effective green engineering concept and a cheapest for treating the textile effluents using TiO2 before disposing it off into water.

Prevalence of Malaria Infection in Endagergis area, South Western Eritrea, East Africa
Over the past years, malaria was a major public health problem in Eritrea. But since 1998, it has experienced a dramatic decline in malaria incidence. In 2013, the MoH launched a massive expansion of the malaria prevention and control program. The program was aimed mainly at the reduction of malaria in populations living in all zobas of the country in general and in the malarious areas in particular. Since Endagergis is one of the malarious areas in Eritrea, the Government put much effort to reduce morbidity and mortality rates in this area. However, there is still a need to generate new information on the prevalence of malaria at the villages of Endagergis locality at the moment. A total of 30 blood slides were examined. Out of these 6 (20%) (95% CI; 5% - 34.9%) were found to be infected. The malaria parasite prevalence differed markedly among villages from 0 to 2.2%, with 40% of the five villages having no positive cases. Four (13.3%) of positive slides had P. falciparum and two (6.7%) had P. vivax. Among the total tested, 4 (28.6%) of the males and 2 (12.5%) of the females had malaria infection and infection was occurred in all age groups, with a slightly higher prevalence (66.7%) of the parasite observed in age groups of below 15 years old. This study reports a significant drop in the prevalence of malaria infection in the inhabitants of Endagergis locality, due to an appropriate implementation of many preventive strategies. However, malaria prevalence still exists in some areas of the locality and is strongly associated with presence of mosquito breeding sites. The prevalence varies according to location of villages with Endagergis, AdiGuor and AdiSeyabo showing statistically higher prevalence. Malaria prevalence was higher in August 2012 than in other months of the surveillance periods.

Different Methods to Enhance the Evaporation Rate Using Photo-Catalyst in Solar Still – A Review
Nowadays water scarcity existing in many countries even though earth is covered by three –fourth of water. Worldwide rapid growth of industries and the immeasurable population are the major reasons for scarcity of water. Solar still is the only effective solution for water problems in dry areas where the scarcity of water and electricity exists. Solar still is a efficient solar device which converts the available brackish water into potable water. An extensive review on different methods to enhance the evaporation rate using photo-catalyst in solar still has been carried out in this paper.

Effect of Ceria on the properties of Ceria Stabilized Zirconia/Alumina /Ceria (ZTA/Ce) composites
Ceria stabilized zirconia toughened alumina (ZTA) /ceria composites for industrial ceramic applications have been studied. Five samples were prepared, ceria was added to ceria stabilized zirconia/alumina composites by various amounts of (0-20 wt. %). The fabricated samples were sintered at 1600 - 1700oC. The sintered samples were characterized for their physical properties such as bulk density and apparent porosity. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM and mechanical tests. It was observed that the formation of cerium hexaaluminate and cerium zirconate in the studied bodies deteriorates the Vicker hardness and fracture toughness of the ceria stabilized ZTA bodies.

A Study on Patient Satisfaction in Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research at Coimbatore
To measure the quality of health care services patient satisfaction is used as one of the most important indicators. The study aims to identify factors affecting patient's satisfaction at primary health care clinics. In evaluations of health care quality, patient satisfaction is a performance indicator measured in a self-report study and a specific type of customer satisfaction metric. This study deals with the customer satisfactions based on primary data such as general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology and orthopedics etc., which are collected from patients in private hospital, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It was also found that reputation of hospitals is influencing factor along with extra facilities, available in the hospital. There was significant influence of age and visits of the respondents on patients? loyalty.
