Exhaust emissions of a single cylinder diesel engine with addition of ethanol
The effects of ethanol addition to the intake air manifold (ethanol fumigation) with percentage 10% and 20% on CO, HC, smoke and soot emissions of a single cylinder diesel engine have been investigated experimentally and compared with each other and with the original diesel engine (100 % diesel fuel). The results show that the optimum percentage for ethanol fumigation is 20%. This percentage produces an increase in CO emissions, HC emissions and reduction in engine smoke and soot mass concentration.

Heat & mass transfer characteristics of natural convective flow in ducts – An application to solar water heating system
The present work deals with experimental studies on heat transfer and flow characteristic for buoyancy induced flow through inclined tubes. The parameters varied during the experimentation are; tube inclination and heat supply. It was found that mass flow rate and heat transfer coefficient increases with increase in heat flux supplied. The flow rate decreases for increase in tube inclination.

A Non-isolated modular inverter topology on DC bus for micro grid
In order to increase the reliability and efficiency of distributed micro-generation a modular grid-connected inverter system is proposed. It consists of a modular DC-DC converter and modular DC-AC converter. Output of the DC-DC converter and input of the DC-AC inverter is connected with a DC bus. The By using the DC-DC converter voltage can be stepped up and Maximum power point tracking can be achieved In this system no transformer is used in the inverter side to inject the voltage into the grid. Here the Voltage is injected in the grid using inductor filter. The practicability of the proposed system has been verified by simulation results and hardware.

Statistical Analysis of Industrial processed Cheese puffs
This paper studied and fit a Multivariate linear regression model to the relationship between the response variables; Weight and Bulk density on one hand, and the predictor variables; Temperature, Moisture content before extrusion and Moisture content after extrusion on the other hand, of Cheese puffs product, manufactured by Zubix Company Limited, Anambra, Nigeria. A sample size of three hundred (300) cheese puffs packs were collected from a population of two-thousand, seventy-eight batches between August 2013 to June 2014, examined and used for analysis. A temperature of 186.67?C was discovered to be significantly related to the response variable.

Surviving the effect of value added as a intellectual capital index on the performance of corporation (case study at TECX)
The main propose of this research is the analyses of value added rule as an intellectual index on the financial ,economical and stock market performance of corporations .at this research the effect of value added (intellectual capital and used capital)on the financial ,economical and stock market of corporation in Tehran exchange commission through the 2006 until 2012with the method of regression has survived .results show that the coefficient of intellectual capital value added is effective at corporation performance .although among the coefficient of intellectual capital and financial and economical performance is meaningful relationship .but there is not meaningful relation among used capital corporation performance .that is arising from not being relation among value added coefficient and financial ,economical and market performance of corporations .So we can conclude that intellectual capital value added in comparison with used capital value added has more and important effect on corporation performance especially at financial and economical performance.

Formulation and Evaluation of a Sustained Release Dosage Form
Most ocular diseases are treated with topical application of eye drops. After instillation of an eye drop, typically less than 5% of the applied drug penetrates the cornea and reaches intraocular tissues, while a major fraction of the instilled dose is absorbed and enters the systemic circulation. As ocular efficiency of topically applied drugs is influenced by the corneal contact time, most common method of improving ocular availability of drugs is to increase pre-corneal residence time by using vesicular system and hydrogel. One such approach to improve bioavailability of drug is the use of in-situ gelling system, which gets converted from sol-to-gel as a result of change in pH. By using Carbopol940 – a pH sensitive gelling agent, an attempt was made to develop niosomal in-situ gelling systems of Norfloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic; useful in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, to increase the ocular residence time of drug. HPMC K15M was incorporated as viscosity enhancing agent. The promising formulations M1, M2, M3 and M4 were evaluated for pH, drug content, in vitro gelation, in vitro drug release, in vivo drug release, viscosity and stability. Percent drug content of 82.5%, 86.7%, 85.3% and 90.8%; viscosity of 320cP, 405cP, 440cP and 500cP at 100 rotation per minute (RPM), cumulative percent release of 37.9%, 47.7%, 48.2% and 49.7%, was observed for formulation M1, M2, M3 and M4 respectively. The developed formulations were therapeutically efficacious, stable, non-irritant and provided sustained release of the drug for 12 hours.

Exploring the potential of public-private partnership in provision of basic education to the urban poor in Kenya
The policy of free primary education in Kenya, although highly commendable, has resulted to a baffling phenomenon where parents in urban slums are withdrawing their children from public to private primary schools. This clearly suggests that parents seem to have confidence in private schools than in public schools. The emergence of low fee private schools whose accreditation is in doubt is indeed an interesting phenomenon worth exploring. It is no longer a question of whether private schools exist but rather to what extent private schools supplement the government in providing basic education. While the government bears the sole responsibility of providing education to all children, the findings from three researches discussed in this paper portray a different reality. The number of private schools especially in the slums almost outnumbers government schools despite the fact that public primary schools are free. This trend raises key policy issues regarding the role of the private sector in collaborating with the government in providing quality education to all citizens. Indeed, the emergence of low cost private schools in urban slums presents an unexploited, though potent, opportunity for public-private partnership in the provision of basic education.

Aerodynamic design and analysis of motor cycle helmet with Anti-glare visor
Motor cycle accidents have been increased in the last two decades. Helmet can protect the vehicle riders from severe injuries during road accident to certain extent. To design a functional helmet, it is important to analyze the shape of the helmet and visor portion. So that the attempt has been made for design and analysis of new helmet by considering the drag pressure and anti-glare visor. The drag pressure resistance presses the helmet against the neck portion of the rider. The shape of an aerodynamic helmet can be able to reduce the drag pressure. The spherical shape and a new aerodynamic shape helmets are designed with aid of Pro-E software and the drag pressure are calculated and comparison has been made on the basis of drag pressure.

In this paper, the south east corner [ SEM ] procedure is successfully coded and tested via many randomly generated problem instances . Based on the results we can conclude that the correctness of the newly coded SEM is promising as compared with the previously coded one.
