Use of Social Media in Formal higher education: Students' Perspective of Facebook as a learning tool
In the modern era, social media such as Facebook can be used as a new technique of educational learning. Contemporary higher education students grew up surrounded by digital technologies and therefore have the expectation that technology should be a fundamental part of their learning process. However, technology merely offers an opportunity for these “digital native” students; how they choose to utilize this opportunity is a more complex decision as previous studies have raised concerns of distraction, abuse of use, and lack of strategic direction with usage in order to achieve meaningful learning. Consequently, the potential of introducing social media into formal learning in relation to the achievement of collaborative learning, social interaction, collective achievement and learning, student-centred learning, information sharing, and access to information through multiple resources might be short-changed if the argument against the integration of social media into learning is sustained and upheld. This paper proposes that Facebook can be establishes as a part of the students’ real-life applications for what they learn in the classroom. Furthermore, this study aims to explore how teachers can use social media as formal learning tools.

Hepatobiliary manifestations inducing by thiopurines during IBD
Thiopurines (TP) are frequently used in inflammatory bowel disease, especially in remission maintenance. One of the reasons for stopping these treatments is appearance of side effects. In this study, we focus on liver damage induced by thiopurines by specifying their types, their mechanisms, and practical behavior in order to diagnose them early and avoid their aggravation This is a retrospective and descriptive study on monocentric cohort of 115 patients followed for IBD under TP recorded over a period from January 2009 to January 2019. 11 patients had disorder of liver function test, a prevalence of 9.5%, which occurred in half of patients, three months from the start of treatment. 3 (2.6%) patients had abnormal liver test and 8 (7%) had hepatotoxicity. occurrence of hepatotoxicity has resulted in stopping treatment in 4 (36.3%) patients. There was no difference in toxicity between azathioprine and 6-mercaptopurine (p=0,081). The incidence of hepatotoxicity in patients with inflammatory bowel disease receiving thiopurines is not negligible. In our clinical practice, it is advisable to start the treatment gradually, to carry out a well codified clinical and biological control, and to pay particular attention to drug interactions.

Effects of schooling on social stratification in Kenya: Focus on inequalities in kenya’s education system
Access to education is one of the basic rights of a child. This right has been hampered in Kenya by social-economic factors beyond the control of disadvantaged communities. The imbalances in resource distribution has resulted not only in limited access to education but poor transition for children from poor and marginalized communities. Although the government at independence identified poverty, ignorance, and disease as the three enemies of development, little has been done to ensure equal access to education for all children. Where attempts have been made, poor planning has negated the gains made. This paper recommends for affirmative actions to be undertaken to reduce the existing inequalities.

CNC Machines – A boon for manufacturing industries and backbone of Cellular Manufacturing Systems
The concept of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) in machine tool evolved at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA between the year 1947 to 1952 for the manufacture of complex & accurate helicopter blades. Since then, this technology has been applied to many different types of machines & machine tools. Now a days the CNC machines have found adoption of by many industries. They have become virtually indispensible in many manufacturing industries because of their many advantages and easy management & reliability. In the face of stiff competition, higher cost of labour & higher rejection of parts, CNC machines proved to be a boon for any manufacturing industry, be it a metal cutting industry, metal forming industry & any other manufacturing industry. Now a days no industrialist can think of putting up an industry without CNC machines, such are their importance & advantages. Talking of Cellular Manufacturing Systems, where a cell of machine tools & other facilities like job movement arrangement etc are created to process a machine part or component from the input of raw material to the finished part. One cannot think of designing such a cell without any CNC machine . CNC machines are part & parcel of Cellular Manufacturing Systems. Rather, they form the backbone of Cellular Manufacturing Sytems.

Library and Information Services Provided by the Library of Patna College, Patna and the Library of Science College, Patna: A Comparative Study
The basic function of the academic library is to assist and support the study and teaching that goes on in the academic institution. The developing countries need to provide various services in the college libraries in order to sustain the development. The major aim of comparative research is to identify similarities and differences between social entities. Comparative research seeks to compare and contrast nations, cultures, societies, and institutions. The data was collected from Patna College, Patna and Science College, Patna. Both the libraries have shortage of professional manpower, physical space & amenities. Even though Patna College, Patna has its own library building, space is not sufficient for the users. There is no provision of separate library building in Science College, Patna. Both the libraries should provide ergonomic reading area for their users. The budget of both the libraries is not adequate. From the above survey it also found that, with the limited resources available, both the libraries are providing traditional service to the good extent, but lacking in use of information and communication technologies, only circulation and catalogue are automated. There are no e-resources like e-books, e-journals, online databases available to the users of these libraries.

Effect of varying sizes, colours and time of cured c. nitida nuts on phytochemical content and enzyme activities using botanicals as a preservative material
Cola is a tropical tree crop that belongs to the family Sterculiaceae. Phostocin is a preservative chemical used by farmers to store Cola nitida nuts which is considered unsafe to human health when consumed. Fresh C. nitida nuts of different weights (1-10g, 11-20g and above 21g) and colours (pink, red and white) were obtained from Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan Oyo State. The Nuts were cured for 12weeks with botanicals. These Nuts were oven dried at 700C for 2 days, ground into powder for phytochemical and enzymatic analysis. Data were subjected to Analysis of variance. The leaf of T. grandis had highest values in alkaloid (4.76 g/100g), flavonoid (0.41 g/100g) and theobromine (0.004g/100g) while M. paradisiaca recorded the lowest values for phytochemical analyzed. Cola nitida nuts recorded the highest values in tannin (3.49g/100g), saponin (3.45g/100g), flavonoid (2.46g/100g), anthraquinone (5.19g/100g), caffeine (4.29g/100g) and polyphenol (1.65g/100g) when preserved with T. grandis and the least was obtained for phostocin in red C. nitida nut above 21g. Also, red C. nitida nut above 21g preserved with T. grandis recorded the highest values in catalase (0.154 mg/NaBO3.4H2O/min/g protein), cellulase (0.125 mg/glucose/min/g protein), total amylase (0.141 mg/glucose/min/g protein) and proteinase (0.121 mg/tyrosine/min/g protein) and lowest values obtained in phostocin. Decreased in enzymes activities and phytochemical content were observed in different colours as the number of weeks increases. In conclusion, the use of botanicals as a preservative material to cure kola nuts is better and safe for consumption than phostocin which the farmers are currently using.

Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of pyrimidine
1-amino-6-(furan-2-yl)-4-methylpyrimidine-2(1H)-thione (1) on reaction with acyl chloride (a-c) yieldsN-(6-(furan-2-yl)-4-methyl-2-thioxopyrimidin-1(2H)-yl)alkyl amide (2).The fusion of compound (2) with hydrazine hydrate yields 3-alkylethyl-6-(furan-2-yl)-8-methyl-9aH-pyrimido[1,2-b][1,2,4,5]tetrazine(3a-c). The structures of all the compounds series (2a-c) and (3a-c) were characterized analytically. The compounds were also monitored for anti microbial activity.

A Comparison of Requirement Prioritization Methodologies
Software Engineering upholds the productivity of quality software products that meets the customer requirements. Requirements engineering ensures the customer satisfaction through the selection of requirements through elicitation processes. Requirement elicitation promotes prioritizing a set of requirements that enables the stakeholders for conformance to the requirements to be built. Requirement prioritization process solves critical decision making problems towards the selection of requirements among group of inappropriate requirements. The main objective of the comparison of the prioritization techniques concludes the differences between them in terms of cost and time. This paper compares and elaborates the prioritization technique that provides a deep study of their constraints, objectives and selection basis of the requirements.
