Adenocarcinoma of the anal canal:A rare case report
Anal canal cancer represents only 1-2% of colorectal cancers. Adenocarcinoma is a rare histological type of anal cancer .The distinction between anal and rectal adenocarcinomas determines the therapeutic indication. Analysis of all morphological, immuno phenotypic and clinical criteria makes it possible to determine the anal or rectal origin of the tumor. Imaging is important for the diagnosis. It gives a precise analysis of the tumor extension to guide therapeutic management. Pelvic MRI allows loco-regional extension and evaluates loco-regional lymph node involvement. The treatment is based on the radio chemotherapy combination.

Geostastistical Prediction of Turbidite Reservoir Heterogeneity and Quality of “AFUN” Field Deep offshore Niger Delta, Nigeria
Hydrocarbon assessment in deepwater settings is very challenging and expensive. Reservoir modelling through geostatistical analysis can be used for better prediction of deepwater facies as well as reducing uncertainties associated with field development. Geostatistical analysis of seismic and well log data was employed to predict reservoir heterogeneity and quality in deepwater turbidite systems of “AFUN” field. Biostratigraphic data and gamma ray log signature were interpreted for chronostratigraphic correlation across the wells. The static properties of the reservoir such as Porosity (?), Volume of shale (Vsh), Water Saturation (Sw), Net-to-Gross (NTG) and fluid type were generated. The subsurface structures and stratigraphy were interpreted with the extraction of seismic attributes from the generated time structure maps. The reservoir modelling involved the population of the reservoir architecture (structure and stratigraphy) with rock properties using stochastic algorithms. Four main petrophysical parameters with lithofacies were modelled in order to determine how these properties are spatially distributed within the subsurface. From the models, it can be deduced that synthetic and antithetic faults constitute the structural framework of the reservoirs in the study area. The faulting system therefore contributing to reservoir complexity. Also, the lithofacies model built for the reservoirs revealed three facies with the sandy turbidite ranging from 15- 45 %, shaly turbidite ranges from 9-24 % while shale ranges from 35-74 %. The model also showed that there are vertical and lateral changes in reservoir properties created by reservoir heterogeneity. The reservoir heterogeneity and quality in deep water turbidite systems could thus be accurately predicted using geostatistical analysis.

Awareness of carbon monoxide poisoning among Ghanaians: A case of residents in the ho municipality of the volta region
This study aimed to determine the level of awareness of carbon monoxide poisoning among residents of the Ho Municipality in Ghana's Volta Region. The population was made up of residents of Ho, and the study utilised a descriptive approach. A total of 569 people were chosen utilising stratified and convenience sampling procedures. Google Forms was used to collect data, and SPSS was used to analyse it. The findings suggested that respondents had a low level of awareness of carbon monoxide poisoning. In addition, the majority of the respondents' apartments lacked smoke or CO alarms, making them more vulnerable to CO poisoning. Finally, the study discovered that CO poisoning awareness programmes were rare in the Municipality. Therefore, the study recommended, among other things, more CO poisoning awareness programmes.

Benign myoepithelioma of the hard palate: a diagnostic challenge. Case and review of the literature.
Myoepithelioma is a rare benign tumor of the salivary glands, considered a variety of pleomorphic adenoma, the palatal location of which is most common in the oral cavity. Our work reports a case of a myoepithelioma of the accessory palatine salivary glands in a 63-year-old man, clinically he presented a lobulated, firm palatal swelling covered with a healthy mucosa. The diagnosis was based on clinical and pathological arguments. The interest of imaging lies in the appreciation of the extension of the tumor process to the mucosa and to deep tissues. Tumor excision must be large to avoid the risk of recurrence and malignant transformation. Through this observation and in the light of the literature we will focus on the anatomo-clinical aspects.

Influence of post harvest processing conditions on yield and quality of Curcuma longa (L.) ground rhizomes produced in Benin
Studies were carried out to evaluate the effect of post harvest processing conditions on yield and quality of Curcuma longa (L.) rhizomes infusettes. A material balance was determined for four production processes including or not peeling and blanching. Sliced and dried rhizomes were packaged on tea bags and the products quality was monitored using reference methods. Production yields ranged from 38.39 to 76.87% with higher values obtained from unpeeled and blanched rhizomes. The moisture content varyed from 3.15 to 3.75 % m/m with a significant difference (P< 0.05) between the peeled and blanched samples which got lower values compared to the others. Microbiological analyses revealed that all samples were of satisfactory quality. Phytochemical screening showed that the presence or absence of metabolites was not influenced by these processing conditions. Peel removal caused mass loss of 33% without blanching but the tea bags obtained from this process had higher intensity of yellow-orange color. Peeling, blanching and drying were operations that affect not only the yield but also the quality of Curcuma longa (L.) rhizomes infusettes.

Carcinosarcoma of the Larynx, a Case report
Describe the different therapeutic modalities of Carcinosarcoma of the Larynx. We report the case of a 55-year-old patient who presented with a Carcinosarcoma of the Larynx. Mr. M., 55 years old, chronic smoker, consults for dysphonia and dysphagia associated with dyspnea, which has been evolving for 12 months, progressively worsening, and necessitated an emergency tracheotomy. CT scan showed a well-circumscribed three-stage process of tissue density. Containing hyperdense images, without cartilage lysis. Carcinosarcoma of the larynx is an extraordinarily rare histological type and prone to metastases to the cervical ganglion. A complete surgical procedure of primary laryngeal lesions with wide margins, associated with a well-established bilateral cervical lymph node dissection is the best therapeutic option. Close and frequent monitoring is necessary to detect a local recurrence or a metastatic. It is essential to collect more data on the biological behavior of these tumors to determine the prognostic factors and the appropriate treatment modalities.

Anatomical variability of the Cystic Duct about two Cases
The aim is to show through two clinical cases an anatomical variability of the cystic duct. The first clinical case of a patient admitted for endoscopic treatment of the main bile duct lithiasis while cholangiography had objectively dilated the cystic duct over its entire length, it was very low implanted in pre-papillary with the presence of a lacunar image evoking a vesicular infundibulum lithiasis. The second clinical case of a patient admitted for endoscopic retrograde cholangio pancreatography and extraction of a millimetric lithiasis of the main biliary tract visualized on the biliary Magnetic Reasoning Imaging, whereas retrograde cholangiography objectified: a thin main biliary tract and a cystic duct measuring 4 mm, long and low implanted with a doubt on a lacunar image. The anatomical variability of the cystic duct is not uncommon, therefore detailed knowledge of all these anatomical variations is essential to avoid iatrogenic lesions of the bile ducts.

Synthesis, Characterization and Antifungal Activity of Metal Complexes of 5-((N, N-diphenylamino)methyl)-8-hydroxyquinoline
The novel ligand, 5-((N,N-diphenylamino)methyl)-8-hydroxyquinoline (DPMHQ) was synthesized by reaction of 5-chloromethyl-8-hydroxyquinoline (CMQ) hydrochloride with N,N-diphenylamine. Metal complexes of DPMHQ were synthesized with Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) salts. The ligand DPMHQ and all its metal complexes were further investigated for elemental content, IR-NMR spectral features, metal: ligand ratio and magnetic properties. The samples were also screened for antifungal activities.
