Assessing the Capacity of Mellat Bank to Earn Income from Commission on Services (The Guarantee Commission, LC, Etc), Emphasizing Profitability and Providing a Suitable Model for Capacity Management using SWOT Model
Due to major changes taken place in the banking system of Iran, Bank Mellat has faced new challenges: restructuring state sectors into private ones through privatization, an increase in their rivals, the intense competition to obtain more market share, bringing about more expenses and costs as to four bank deposits, etc., has led the bank to tends to increase the commission (the income from services’ commission). In this paper, the researcher has collected the required information through interviews with experts as well as scientific and library studies. In the first section of this study, to determine the potential income from commission on Mellat bank services, strategic planning (SWOT model) and assessment models of internal factors (IFE) as well as external factors (EFE) were employed. Due to the fact that in assessment models of internal (IFE) and external factors (EFE), the bank has obtained a score of 2.25 and 1.75, it can be argued that the bank has not successful in making use o its appropriate capacity in the field of services and non-shared revenues. In the last section of this paper, to enhance the capacity of non-shared services of Mellat bank, various strategies SO, ST, WO and WT are suggested. Among aforementioned strategies, the defensive strategy (WT) is selected as the main strategy of the bank through which 12 major factors are presented by the researcher contributing to the self-defense strategy.

Optimizing Classification Error in Handwritten Devnagari Text Documents Using GA
Nowadays, there are innumerable innovative technologies are emerging in the era of image processing and pattern recognition field. One of the challenging and interesting fields of research in image processing and pattern recognition is the “Optical Character Recognition”. Genetic algorithm is class of evolutionary algorithm which is based on the ideas of natural selection and natural genetic system. Genetic algorithm is an impartial optimization algorithm which makes parameter selection in an optimized way so as to obtain the global optimum. Devnagari script is very popular script in India for Marathi, Hindi, Nepali, Sanskrit, Konkani etc. In past few years, the enormous amount of innovations in research work related to the character recognition of printed as well as handwritten documents is established for numerous types of scripts. But the accuracy of recognition will not provide the satisfactory results. The genetic algorithm is used for optimizing the classification error and also improving the recognition rates. So, this is an attempt of improving the accuracy and optimizing the classification error by introducing the genetic algorithm for feature extraction as well as the classification for the handwritten devnagari script.

A Review: Characterizing an Analysis of Important Parameters for Infrastructure less Based Networks-MANETs
Today in the world of computer networking, wireless networks are becoming one of the most popular, valuable, decisive & critical medium for communication. Among the wireless networks, MANET’s i.e., Mobile Ad-hoc Networks are of their own importance. For the purpose of group communication, there are many applications of MANET’s in the areas like as an automated battlefields, crowd control, disaster recovery, conference, search and rescue operations etc. An Ad-hoc Network is basically a wireless network comprising a set of mobile nodes in absence of any centralized access point or fixed infrastructure. In this paper, the necessary parameters which are required to characterize the MANET’s have been presented. A kind of review is done upon these important parameters. The various parameters responsible for the routing strategies in MANETs are the parameters like as performance analysis, reliability, scalability, power saving, efficiency as well as security.By depicting these essential parameters for MANETs, we are able to make proper as well as efficient utilization of MANETs in various fields of communication such as conferencing, pollution monitoring, emergency services like battlefield, disaster recovery, vehicular networks, etc.

Comparison of Performance Measures of an Integrated H/w and S/w Systems under Priority and Preventive Maintenance
This paper deals with a cold standby redundant integrated h/w and s/w systems with priority, preventive maintenance, maximum operation time and maximum repair time. The system fails completely directly from normal mode. A single repair facility is provided who visits the system immediately. After, a maximum operation time system undergoes for preventive maintenance directly from normal mode. If repair of the h/w is not possible by the server up to a pre-specific time, it is replaced by new one with some replacement time. However, only up-gradation of the software by new one is made whenever s/w fails to execute the desired function properly. In model 1st, no priority is given whereas; in 2nd model, priority is given to s/w up-gradation over h/w repair. The failure time distribution of the h/w and s/w follows negative exponential while the distributions of preventive maintenance, repair, up-gradation and replacement time are taken as arbitrary with different probability density functions. The comparative study of mean time to system failure (MTSF) and profit function of both models have been made graphically with respect to preventive maintenance rate for fixed values of other parameters.

Ideological/Cultural Orientations in the Translation of a Narrative Text: the Persian Translation of the Adventures of Hajji Baba of Ispahan
This study investigated ideological and cultural aspects of literary translation by specifically focusing on the analysis of the textual features of a literary source text, namely, Morier’s Adventures of Hajji Baba of Ispahan, a novel originally published in English in 1823, and its corresponding translated target text, namely, Sargozašt-e ??ji B?b?-ye E?fah?ni, rendered into Persian by Mirza ?abib I?fahani in the 1880s. Employing Halliday’s (1985) systemic functional linguistics (SFL) as well as Venuti’s “domesticating/ foreignizing” dichotomy for the analysis and assessment of translated works, the researchers analyzed the TT by accounting for the sets of constraints within which the expression of ideology and cultural elements take place. In order to indicate the translator’s ideological orientations, the study concentrated on the analysis of a number of textual features, namely, “nominalizations”, “voice shifts”, “modality shifts”, “agency shifts”, “expansions”, “contractions”, and “thematic progressions”. Domestication and foreignization strategies in the translated text have also been investigated to see if the translator had to apply any of the two strategies especially in translating cultural elements. The study finally comes up with the conclusion that the TT has been under the influence of ideological and cultural manipulations by the translator in order to conform to the target culture’s textual and social values.

The Effect of Ideology on lexical and Syntactic Choices in Literary Translation: A Case Study of The Persian Translation of The Adventures of Hajji Baba of Ispahan
As Simpson (1993) writes, ideology has been defined as the tacit assumptions, beliefs, and value systems which are shared collectively by social groups. These indications show the influence of translator’s mental frameworks through which he / she translates and interprets the texts. This study investigated ideological aspects of literary translation by specifically focusing on the analysis of the textual features of a literary source text, namely, Morier’s Adventures of Hajji Baba of Ispahan, a novel originally published in English in 1823, and its corresponding translated target text, namely, Sargozašt-e ??ji B?b?-ye E?fah?ni, rendered into Persian by Mirza ?abib I?fahani in the 1880s. In order to indicate the ideological aspects, the study concentrated on the analysis of a number of textual features, namely, “nominalizations”, “voice shifts”, “modality shifts”, “agency shifts”, and “thematic progressions”. The study finally comes up with the conclusion that the TT has been under the influence of ideological manipulation by the translator in order to conform to the target culture’s textual and social values.

Academic Performance Optimalization Model through Total Quality Development of Private University Management in Central Java to Face Global Competition
The same responsibility to educate Indonesian young generationlies on both private and public Universities. However, due to the rapid growth of both Universities, tighter and higher competition has been found. The lack of students entering private Universities (PTS) have made many of them collapsed. Therefore, to face the tight competition, PTS need to concern on some particular strategies to improve the number of students who enroll PTS. One of the strategies is by improving the academic performance. This study was to develop an optimalization model to improve academic performance in PTS through Total Quality Management (TQM) Development in many PTS at Central Java. The data were obtained from observation, questionnaire and in-depth formal and informal interviews to the lectures and the head of PTS. The data were gathered purposively using sequenced mixed methods. The study found thatthere was weak correlation between organizational culture, employee motivation, job satisfaction, academic performance and TQM in PTS at Central Java. Academic performance in PTS was stillworst with the index value of 3.94. Meanwhile, TQM indicated the index valueof 3.99 which was in medium to good category. As a matter of fact, it was necessary to build organizational culture, work motivation, job satisfaction to optimize academic performance also there was necessary to be develop TQM in PTS. This condition would be possibly happened along with the high commitment of the leaders, academic staffs, as well as continuous monitoring and evaluation program to achieve stakeholders’ satisfaction.
