Multilayer Slit Loaded Gap coupled Orthogonal Shorting Post Microstrip Antenna for L- Band Pervasive Wireless Communication
In this paper, a three layer Small single feed multiband microstrip antenna loaded with slit and two perpendicular shorting posts, is presented. Wide band frequency of operation demonstrated by single geometry, for broadening the bandwidth gap-coupled multi-resonator loaded on the patch, the simulation of proposed design antenna has done by MOM IE3DTM Simulator. The geometry of a single probe fed rectangular microstrip antenna has textured by slit loading and two orthogonal shorting pin on the top layer patch. We have also textured the size of the antenna. This proposed antenna is used for GSM, satellite and wireless communication in, L Band. Achieved 63% reduction of geometrical area of the antenna for L –Band, achieved 57% -10dB impedance bandwidth of L Band.

Stability constant and thermodynamic studies of metal complexes with Benzimidazole
Metal- ligand complexation in solutions was studied in water-methanol media by pH-metric titration with the standard glass electrode at ionic strength of 0.1M KNO3. The titrations were carried out at various temperatures 35oC, 45oC, and 55oC and the pKa values (stability constants) were determined. Copper (II) with benzimidazole gave pKa’s of 2.86, 2.52, and 2.46; Stability constant (logK) 338.80, 331.13 and 288.40 while Nickel (II) benzimidazole gave pKa’s 2.51, 2.60 and 2.38 and Stability constant (logK) 323.59, 398.11 and 239.85 respectively. It was revealed that the stability constants of the metal complexes decreased as the temperature increases. Formation constants obtained for these complexes showed that metal- ligand ratio were in the range of 1:1 and 1:2. The thermodynamic parameters were also determined at the working temperatures and the results obtained showed negative ?H and Gibb’s free energy (?G) indicating exothermic and spontaneous reactions.

Smart traffic lights to help cars save gas
Intelligent driver systems and vehicle connectivity have made systems like RFID based traffic control systems, automatic collision notification obsolete. In addition to collision notification, cooperative collision avoidance and other applications using connectivity between the vehicle and signalized intersections have emerged. Applications avoiding collisions, enhancing fuel economy and reducing greenhouse gases (GHG) are the subject of this paper. The interaction between vehicle and traffic management systems could revolutionize the traffic problems of a crowded metropolitan city. This paper will employ connectivity as an enabling technology for sustaining the vision of smart and green transportation systems.

Medical Tourism Research in 21st Century
Medical tourism is developing a new dimension in Malaysian healthcare system and its diversifying the national economy. In order to be competitive in this emerging industry, Malaysia needs to identify and implement competitive strategies based on the needs of medical tourists globally and the availability of its resources in the country. Literature review shows the study on medical tourism is focusing on wide variety of issues ranging from cost, promotion, barriers and cultural aspects. This conceptual paper would like to propose the extension of Porter model and Peng Y model of internationalization in medical tourism research. Porter model usually used in manufacturing and service oriented research. Whereas Peng Y model usually used in the international business studies. As medical tourism is moving forward to be a competitive industry and it is happening globally, it is wise to extend or associate those two models in the medical tourism research. Therefore, this paper is focused on competitive strategies, institutional based strategies, industry based strategies and resource based strategies that the health care centers need to adopt based on the both models. A theoretical framework is proposed to research emphasizing on the above four strategies in medical tourism.

Managerial Competency Approach in Management Development
One of the framework which could be utilized in management development is management competencies. This approach have focused the attention of researchers in recognition to key competencies for managers which have believed that the deep study of managerial competencies opens the road for development & enrichment of organization’ management. From mid-1980, the managerial competency development caught the interest of organization, the reason for such desire was the belief that managerial competency development have many benefits for organizations and this belief still stands (Ghaffarian, 2000:71). Pedagogy & selection of mangers and leaders is the most problematic issue for cotemporary progressive organizations. What kind of qualifications must a manager have(Abraham&Karness, 2001:843( for successful performance of his duties and achieving organizational’ goals(even beyond that)? A definition of qualification is as such: “Qualifications are managerial features which lead to appearance of skills & capabilities that would cause effective performance in any occupational domain; Also, incarnates the capacity for transfer of skills & capabilities from one domain to another”. In this definition, the superior performance means that the individual with specific qualifications is in upper level(Chen, 2004: 105). Competency has various meanings and still has remained as one of the most important term in organizational literature(Robatam , 1999). Based of definition of Boyatzis (1982:23), competency is a constituent in which emphasizes on personal attributes of individuals for achieving his effective job performance. Therefore managerial competencies consist qualities and capabilities of managers which leads to effectiveness of managers in work environment( Voudal 1998:4).

Do the sentiments on the net really matter?
Our information-gathering behavior has always been to find out what other people think. Opinion-rich resources such as online review sites and personal blogs are growing rapidly which provide new opportunities and challenges, as people can actively use information technologies to seek out and understand the opinions of others. People share their experiences on-line, express their opinions, frustrations about anything. The huge amount of available data creates opportunities for automatic mining and analysis. It can be considered as a classification task: their feelings can be positive, negative or neutral. People don’t directly express sentiment, They can also use a diverse range of other methods to express their emotions. Authors may mix objective and subjective information about a topic, or write down psots about other topics than the one we are investigating. And also there is a lot of noise in the data gathered from the Web pages. Due to this the task of automatic recognition of the sentiment in on-line text becomes more difficult. The content we are interested in this paper is, what is sentiment analysis, how the sentiment analysis was useful for a bank, how can it be applied in market intelligence and what are the challenges that could be faced in Indian scenario.

Listening Comprehension: Aligning Instruction and Assessment
The purpose of this paper is to present some instructional ideas for second language (L2) listening comprehension and their alignment with listening assessment. Among the suggestions are using spoken texts as instructional input, introducing the micro- and macro markers and providing students with authentic texts. In addition, the paper also highlights the importance of awareness-raising on the differences between spoken and written language among L2 learners. To expand the extant of the scope of possible instructional ideas for L2 listening, the discussion on pre-teaching of listening input and its connection to learners’ schemata is also included. To consolidate the discussion on instructional ideas, communicative reciprocal listening instruction is recommended for L2 listening instruction. Apart from instructional ideas, suggestions on how to develop a ‘considerate’ listening assessment that is in alignment with classroom instruction are also presented in this paper.
