Sensor data analysis and management in wireless sensor networks
Harvesting the benefits of a sensor-rich world presents many data analysis and management challenges. Recent advances in research and industry aim to address these challenges. Modern sensors and information technologies make it possible to continuously collect sensor data, which is typically obtained as real-time and real valued numerical data. Examples include vehicles driving around in cities or a power plant generating electricity, which can be equipped with numerous sensors that produce data from moment to moment. Though the data gathering systems are becoming relatively mature, a lot of innovative research needs to be done on knowledge discovery from these huge repositories of data. The data management techniques and analysis methods are required to process the increasing volumes of historical and live streaming data sources simultaneously. Analysts need improved techniques are needed to reduce an analyst’s decision response time and to enable more intelligent and immediate situation awareness. Faster analysis of disparate information sources may be achieved by providing a system that allows analysts to pose integrated queries on diverse data sources without losing data provenance. This paper proposed to develop abstractions that make it easy for users and application developers to continuously apply statistical modeling tools to streaming sensor data. Such statistical models can be used for data cleaning, prediction, interpolation, anomaly detection and for inferring hidden variables from the data, thus addressing many of the challenges in analysis and managing sensor data. Current archive data and streaming data querying techniques are insufficient by themselves to harmonize sensor inputs from large volumes of data. These two distinct architectures (push versus pull) have yet to be combined to meet the demands of a data-centric world. The input of sensor streaming data from multiple sensor types further complicates the problem.

Indian ethos for ethical accounting self governance - a conceptual analysis
Ethical accounting concept of business ethics relates directly to transparency, accountability & Corporate Responsibility. The major ethical issues occur in accounting and finance are reporting false income, falsifying documents, allowing or taking questionable deductions, illegally evading income taxes, engaging in frauds etc. Indian Ethos is all about what can be termed as “national ethos”. Self-governance is an abstract concept that refers to several scales of organization. Some degree of consensus decision making is usually involved in any self-governance system, if only because individual members of the group may choose to violate the criteria for invoking outside authority, break the code of silence, or otherwise cause the group to lose its autonomy. The need of the hour is the requirement of ethical accounting regulations and in this research paper tried to relate the Indian ethos for self governance.

Reducing transfer latency of peer to peer system using unstructured model
This paper presents a queuing model to evaluate the latency associated with file transfers or replications in peer-to-peer (P2P) computer systems. The main contribution of this paper is a modelling framework for the peers that accounts for the file size distribution, the search time, load distribution at peers, and number of concurrent downloads allowed by a peer. We propose a queuing model that models the nodes or peers in such systems as M/G/1/K processor sharing queues. The model is extended to account for peers which alternate between online and offline states. The proposed queuing model for the peers is combined with a single class open queuing network for the routers interconnecting the peers to obtain the overall file transfer latency. We also show that in scenarios with multipart downloads from different peers, a rate proportional allocation strategy minimizes the download times.

Sharon: furtive packet dropping in wireless ad-hoc networks using christina theory
SHARON based Furtive packet dropping is a suite of four afflictions misrouting the distance, clone node, and colluding collision that can be easily established against multi-hop wireless ad hoc networks. Furtive packet falling interrupts the packet from reaching the target through despiteful behavior at an intermediate node. Nevertheless, the entire vindictive node gives the impression to its neighbors that it performs the morganatic forwarding action. Furthermore a legitimate node comes under intuition. We introduce a protocol called FAWAN that can observe and isolate furtive packet dropping affliction efficiently. FAWAN presents two techniques that can be overlaid on baseline local monitoring: having the neighbors maintain additional information about the routing path, and adding some FAWAN provides an innovative mechanism to better a commute local monitoring by considerably increasing the number of nodes in a neighborhood that can do monitoring.

Effect of plant spacing on fodder yield and regrowth height of moringa oleifera in south western Nigeria
Seeds bags of Moringa oleifera were transplanted into a field on the Teaching and Research Farm of Ekiti State University, Ado- Ekiti, Nigeria at 30 x 40cm (81,833 plants ha-1), 40 x 60cm (41,667 plant ha-1), 60 x 80cm (20, 833 plant ha-1) and 100 x 100cm (10,000 plants ha-1). Cured poultry manure was applied at 3MT.ha-1 one week before transplanting and thereafter at two month interval. No fertilizer or irrigation was applied throughout the duration of the experiment. Fodder was harvested from the top to tender stems at 60 days after transplanting and fresh and dry weights were measured. Regrowths were harvested at 30-day intervals during the wet (60, 90, 120 and 150 days after transplanting) and dry (210, 240, 270 and 300 days after transplanting) season. Regrowth height was measured at each cutting day and harvesting involved the tender portion of stem. The 30 x 40cm spacing produced the highest fodder yield (14.89 ton ha-1) which was significantly higher than other spacings. Fodder yield in the wet season (7.6MT.ha-1) was significantly higher than that of dry season (2.79MT.ha-1). Also, there was a positive correlation between the fodder yield and the amount of precipitation in all the months under study. However, plant spacing did not significantly affect regrowth height (p> 0.05) of Moringa oleifera in this area. It was therefore concluded that the agronomic potentials of Moringa oleifera is implicated for its use as an alternative feed resource for small ruminants in South Western Nigeria.

Synthesis, Analysis and Antimicrobial Screening of N-Salicyl-O-Hydroxyphenyleneiminato Co (II) Complex
A Schiff base ligand derived from salicylaldehyde and 2-aminophenol and its complex of Co(II) were synthesized. The ligand and the complex were characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurement, FT-IR and melting point or decomposition temperature measurements. The elemental analysis data show the formation of 1:1 metal to ligand ratio. The experimental data show that the ligand act as a tridentate ligand (ONO). The Schiff base and the complex were screened for antibacterial and antifungal activity. The complex shows higher activity than the free ligand.

Tibiocalcaneal arthrodesis using screws in the treatment of equinovarus deformity of the foot in adult: a retrospective study of 42 cases
The authors have retrospectively studied 42 cases of tibiocalcaneal arthrodesis using large cannulated AO screws, staples and iliac crest graft mixed in treatment of fixed equinovarus deformity of the foot in adult patients. There were 25 men and 17 women aged 22 to 70 (mean, 45) years. All patients were reviewed with an average of 5 years. The operations were performed between 2005 and 2012.Preoperatively, all patients had 50° of the mean calcaneal varus deformity and 75° (60-90°) of equinus deformity on Meary’s radiological. There were 24 idiopathic, 8 post traumatic,6 neurologic associated with IMC,4 polio. Clinical and functional outcome was assessed with the kitaoka score, the x-rays included an AP and lateral view of the ankle and Meary view .Resultats were excellent in 73% , good in 18 % , fair in 9%. X-rays showed 3 nonunions after 2 years and were reported. We noted 2 postoperative cutaneous necrosis; the shortening was an average 2 cm. After a mean follow-up duration of 5±2.93 years; All patients stated that they improvement of pain and function. 40 patients returned to independent ambulation, wearing custom-made shoes with molded insoles. We belive that the tibiocalcaneal arthrodesis should be used to treat the fixed equinovarus deformity in the adult whatever its etiology.

Technological Learning, Technological Capability, And Innovation Performance In Indonesia’s Manufacturing Industry
In this era of knowledge-based economy, it has been recognized that industrial competitiveness is determined by the presence of technology-intensive industries so as to produce high value-added products through innovation activities. Meanwhile, transformation of the economic structure in Indonesia has set out its manufacturing industry as a pillar of the national economy. Unfortunately, Indonesia's manufacturing industry output is dominated by low technology intensity industries. Considering the importance of technological learning and technological capability to improve innovation performance, using structural equation modelling, this research attempts to model the relationship of technological learning, technological capability, and innovation performance of Indonesia’s manufacturing industry. The empirical model obtained indicates that Indonesia’s manufacturing firm’s innovation performance is not mainly determined by the whole comprehensive process of technological learning. Innovation performance is also not derived mainly from technological capability building. The technological learning activities are not intended to increase firm’s technological capability but more directly to increase innovation performance. Nevertheless, further study is needed to improve the empirical model and obtain stronger justification

Studies on synthesis and characterization of bio-active 1,3,5-triazine derivatives
Series of compounds containing s-triazine derivatives were synthesized. The synthetic strategy utilizes cyanuric chloride as a starting material to obtain the several Schiff’s base A(1-5), azetidinone B(1-5) and thiazolidinone C(1-5) viz. condensations and cyclizations. All newly synthesized compounds have been characterized by physical processes (melting points, Thin layer chromatography, elemental analysis, IR and NMR spectra) and have been tested for their antimicrobial activity against gram (+)ve and gram (-)ve bacteria and also on different stains of fungi in which some of these derivatives exhibited potential antibacterial and antifungal activity.
