Enhancement of Video Performance by using Segmentation Algorithm with Deep Learning
An Integration of video pre-processing and the improvement of frames plays a significant role in the field of image processing. Image segmentation is one of the most important in image analysis. This paper presents a Watershed based image segmentation technique with k-means bunch method and some enhancement design method for improvement of overall performance. Though the HSV color area was found to convey higher results compared to the RGB color area, in our experiments the RGB and HSV color areas were found to convey virtually equivalent results. Eventually, it had been set to use the HSV color area as a result of it gave higher results than the RGB color area just in case of “difficult Queries”. K-MEAN primarily based bunch rule has been projected and also the iterations taken was abundant less than that of K-MEAN and ANN based schemes. Moreover, K-MEAN based mostly schemes might discover all the peaks and hence, the categories accurately. The impact of the configuration, migration policy, rate of migration, and kind of migration on the speed convergence has been studied and it had been discovered that the migration policy and rate of migration greatly influence the convergence rate

Age & Gender Classification Using Histogram of Oriented Gradients and Back Propagation Neural Network
The human face has been serving as an identity since the beginning of mankind but it has more to offer than a recognition key of an individual. Facial features helps define the gender, expression, reactions and age of that individual. The objective of this paper is to take in consideration the ability of facial features to determine the age of an individual. This is done by taking in regard certain geometrical factors like distinguishable landmarks, the different valleys and peaks that contribute for facial features termed as nodal points. Each human face has approximately 80 nodal points i.e. just 80 pixels out of thousands of them are to be segregated for further use. Some of these are distance between the eyes, jaw line length, eye sockets depth, nose width, cheekbones shape, wrinkle topography etc. Taking into account the surface and age data we propose Histogram of Gradient algorithm along with Back Propagation Neural Network for the age and gender classification. The proposed algorithm do the classification in three different age group(child, adult and old) in addition to this we approach for gender classification in the age group child, adult and old with the same technique. The acquired results for the age classification gives an accuracy of around 92%. For the gender classification it works well for the old age group.

The responsivess of inflation to selected monetary policy Instrument in Nigeria-Empirical Analysis
This study examines the responsiveness of inflation to monetary policy in Nigeria. The specific objective was to determine empirically the extent to which monetary policy had helped in achieving general price stability in Nigeria within the chosen scope. Data for the study were obtained from secondary sources. The ordinary least square, Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) unit root test, Johansen Co-integration test, as well as parsimonious Error Correction Mechanism method were adopted to analyse the data. The results revealed that the impact of regulatory instrument on inflation was relatively low indicating that monetary policy was not a good predictor of inflation rate in Nigeria. Results also revealed non-stationarity at level form rather stationary after first differencing; and integrated at order one 1(1). Further revelations indicated that a long-run relationship existed among the variables and showed the presence of one co-integrating vector in the model. The study offers some important policy implication: the government should compliment monetary policy with fiscal policy to attain macro-economic objectives, diversifying the economy and encourage local productivity to stabilize prices.

Assessing the Economic Impact of Climate Change (Rainfall) on Productivity of Sorghum Crop in Gadarif State, Sudan
This paper was prepared to estimate the current and projected relationship between climate change (rainfall) and variability and the productivity of sorghum under rainfed mechanized farming system in Gadarif State. The study ultilized secondary data covering the period 1940-2014. The data analyzed using descriptive analysis, Bias Correction and Spatial Downscaling (BCSD) and Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs). The most important results revealed that an increasing trend of rainfall indicating the evidence of existance of climate change in the State. The study also found that the dry rainfall years affect the productivity of sorghum by reducing it by 4.9 kg/feddan/year and that floody rainfall years leads to decreasing the productivity by 11.3 kg/feddan/year, while the productivity was decreasing by 3.39 kg/feddan/year in normal rainfall years. As with respect the projection to future rainfall and yield, two scenarios based on greenhouse gas concentration in the atmosphere for the period 2020-2100 were used. The best scenario assumed an RCP of 2.6 and the worst one assumed an RCP of 8.5 .The results of best scenario predicted an expected decrease rainfall by 0.865 mm/year and decrease in crop yield at rate of 1.121 kg/fed/year in case of maximum temperature; and at rate of 0.618 kg/fed/year in case of minimum temperature. The result of the worst scenario predicted an expected decrease in rainfall at the rate of 0.554 mm/year with consequent decline in crop productivity at a rate of 5.235 kg/fed/year in case of maximum temperature and at a rate of 4.844 kg/fed/year in case of minimum temperature. The effect of increase greenhouse gas concentration in future leads to decrease rainfall and decrease yield of sorghum in Gadarif State.

Inventory management and the financial performance of quoted manufacturing firms in Nigeria
This study investigated the relationship between inventory management and the financial performance of quoted manufacturing firms in Nigeria. The study employed longitudinal research design. Longitudinal design involves repeated observations of the same variables over long periods of time which helps the researcher to be able to detect changes in the variables of interest. The population of the study covers all quoted manufacturing companies listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange from 2011- 2015. However, a sample of 23 manufacturing companies was drawn from the companies listed in the Stock Exchange for the period 2011-2015. The study utilizes the Pooled Ordinary Least squares (OLS) and the Generalized Least squares (GLS) regression estimation. The use of the Pooled OLS is based on the fact that it is a simple way to examine the sensitivity of the results to alternative specifications and allows for greater flexibility in modelling differences in sample specific behaviour. Findings revealed that finished goods inventory, inventory turnover, inventory conversion period and ram material inventory all have a positive effect and also statistically significant at 5% level while work-in- progress cost is not significant. The Inventory turnover is positive (0.6634) and statistically significant at 5% level (p=0.0014) which implies that the higher the inventory turnover, the higher the level of profitability. Specifically, a 1% increase in inventory turnover results in about 66.3% increase in profitability and vice-versa. While the inventory conversion period (ICP) is negative (-0.3962) and statistically significant at 5% level (p=0.0014) implying that delays in inventory conversion affects profitability negatively. Specifically, a 1% delay in inventory conversion will result in 39% decrease in profitability. The study therefore, recommends that; manufacturing companies should improve their inventory turnover ratio as this has been observed to have a positive impact on profitability. Companies can do this by using sales discounts, marketing campaigns and total product improvements. There is also the need to improve the rate of inventory conversion by eliminating delays in the conversion process as delays have been found to adversely affect profitability.

Case of malposition implantable port chamber catheter
The implantable port chamber catheters are useful for repeated intravenous treatment, they are placed surgically, percutaneously or radio-guided, they can cause variable complications (infection, thrombosis, malposition, product leakage ...). The occurrence of malposition of the distal portion of the catheter is a rare complication. We report a case of malposition (intra-dural and extra medullary position) whose mechanism have not been determined.
