Seasonal changes in RNA : DNA ratio of marine clam katelysia opima at kalbadevi estuary, ratnagiri coast, Maharashtra
In present investigation shows the seasonal changes in RNA : DNA ratio in different tissues of Katelysia opima. The RNA and DNA ratio in the calm was found increased in adductor muscle, gonad and hepatopancreas than gill, mantle, siphon & foot at the time of gametogenesis in early monsoon. Similarly in that period the protein content was also increased in particular tissuses. In monsoon, the gametogenesis was triggered by temperature and the requirement of protein was increased, so the RNA content was also increased during that period and DNA was dependent on the increasing and decreasing content of RNA.

From Conflict to Accord and a Decade Thenceforth- The Plight of Internally Displaced Persons in Bodoland and the Law
India has an age old unbroken history of welcoming and providing warm hospitality to an endless inundation of men and women of diverse creeds, cultures and races. However, when it comes to its own citizens who are displaced due to conflicts, the situation is entirely different and awfully pathetic. The IDPs of Bodoland are facing the same. They are devoid of basic rights and amenities. In the absence of a comprehensive law pertaining to protection and rehabilitation of conflict induced IDPs, their problems have been aggravated. In view of the forgoing a study of the genesis of Bodoland, history of ethnic conflicts in Bodoland, condition of the IDPs created by these conflicts and legal response to the needs of these IDPs has assumed paramount importance. This paper aims to shed light on these not so talked about problems of the people of Bodoland and also makes a humble attempt advancing a few suggestions towards remedying the same.

Psychoanalytic Feminism in Samuel Barclay Beckett's Drama "Footfalls"
SamuelBarclay Beckett, born near Dublin, took a degree at Trinity College (Dublin's Protestant University), but then went abroad and settled for good in Paris in 1937. He has lived in Paris ever since (Abrams, 1962). He wrote Footfalls in 1975. During the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, no one's critical theory of writing dominated feminist criticism because feminist theory and criticism highlighted the personal allowing for diverse theories and approaches to textual analysis. According to Showalter, American feminism at that time was essentially textual; stressing repression, British feminism was essentially Marxist, stressing oppression; and French feminism was essentially psychoanalytic; stressing repression. (Bressler, 2007) By taking a biographical approach and analysing his mysterious "Footfalls", the main aim of this study is to provide well supported reasons that Beckett is a real psychoanalyst in Feminism.

Texting: Tampering with the Writing Style of Iranian
Text messaging or texting is the process of sending short messages usually 160 characters from a mobile phone. The first text message was sent during 1989 but the arrival of the text message in the public domain was in 1992. This technology has brought a new style of writing called text messaging -or txtng- which is generally defined as shortening of the words. Not only all languages with Roman alphabet (like English) can use txtng, but also non-Roman-alphabetic languages like Persian have some form of texting language. For English, the general rule of texting is omitting the vowels but since Persian does not follow this rule, the process is rather different. The texting style in Persian is more like misspelling of words. Although texting in English is treated as misspelling as well, according to recent studies by researchers at Coventry University and the University of Toronto, English texting improves literacy. This paper aims to find the effects of texting on writing and literacy of Iranian. To this end, 60 Persian speakers -adults and teenagers- were asked to participate. After the analysis of their writings, we found that text messaging has a direct negative impact on the writing dictation and style of the writer.

The Effects of Code Switching on Language Learning
Code switching is defined as the practice of selecting or altering linguistic elements so as to contextualize talk in interaction (Nilep,2006). The main purpose of this study is to investigate and closely examine the role and the effects of code-switching on material learning in a classroom context and also students' attitudes towards this linguistic phenomenon. For this purpose, the students’ notes, which were taken from the teachers’ speech, were studied and then their written notes were analyzed qualitatively with a focus on code switching. Then, the questionnaire was distributed among participants to investigate their attitudes. According to the quantitative and qualitative data analysis obtained from the questionnaire –distributed among 60 participants – and the interview, code switching during delivering materials was completely helpful to the students' learning and also it helped them to remember better for their exams.

Experimental Investigation of Multi Hole Probe in Aircraft Air Data Sensors
A Multi Hole pressure Probes (MHP) with five holes and conically shaped was designed for Air craft data sensors for calibrating the total pressure, static pressure, flow angle and flow speed. The main principle of five-hole probe is based on the notion that Mach number, pressure and directionality of the incoming stream may correlated with the combination of pressure readings. The general aspects of the five-hole conical probe were studied by various research papers and concluded with the final design of conical probe with 600 included angles which is applicable Air craft data sensors and also for both subsonic and supersonic wind tunnel test sections. Numerical calibration using ANSYS FLUENT 14.0 is done.

Post Colonial Perspective in Amitav Ghosh's "The Glass Palace"
This paper traces the colonial perspective in Amitav Ghosh’s The Glass Palace, a historical novel that presents the colonization of Burma and its impact on the royalty as well as the commoners. Post Colonial Literature is a body of literary writing that deals with the problems and consequences of the European colonization of the Middle East, Asia and Africa. The novel deals with the European greed and the cruelty of colonization as it unfolds over a period of hundred years of pre-colonial, colonial and post-colonial Burmese history from the late 19th century to the end of the 20th century. It describes the effortlessness with which the country is captured by the British and the Burmese royalty deported to India and the aftermath of this incident in the lives of people. Through the life of RajKumar, the protagonist of the novel, the author unfolds the poignant accounts of people scattered through post- imperialist dislocation in various parts of the Asian Continent. The natives are presented as victims rather than foes of the colonizers. This paper presents the sordid reality of imperialism and its destructive effect on the social, psychological and ecological aspects of human life. The aspirations and disappointments of the colonized people are also brought forth as they try to ‘figure out their place in the world’

A Regression Analysis approach to study the impact of T.V. Advertisement targeted to Children on Family Purchase Decision
Children in middle-class India take important decisions in the home, thereby contributing majorly to household budget contours. From buying white goods and cars, to cell phones and grocery and even insurance policies, children under the age of 13 are deciding which brands their parents should or should not buy. On the other hand parents today are willing to buy more for their kids because trends such as smaller family size, dual incomes and postponing children until later in life mean that families have more disposable income. The aim of this paper is to study the role of T.V. advertisement targeted to the Children in the purchase decision of the family. Today our market is flooded with advertisements targeted to children specially FMCG, Automobiles, Electronic goods sectors where child artists are used to influence the children watching the advertisements on T.V. and ultimately tell their parents about the product to be purchased. This promotional strategy adopted by many companies today has its pros and cons and the authors will try to discuss the same with the help of a primary study to be conducted in Jalandhar District of Punjab. The authors prepared a Questionnaire and apply descriptive statistics and regression analysis to find the impact of T.V. advertisement targeted to children on family purchase decision.

Comparative analysis of the quality of the shallow and deep aquifer waters of nsukka se, Nigeria – a preliminary approach to water resource development
Comparative analysis of the shallow and deep aquifers of Nsukka SE, Nigeria was studied as a preliminary approach for the underground water resource development of the region. Method of approach involves the identification of rock formations and delineation of their stratigraphic relationships. Activities involved collection and analysis of water samples from boreholes and hand dug wells. A total of 14 water samples were collected (7 from shallow and deep aquifer each) and analyzed for inorganic and organic components. Ca2+, Na+, Mn2+, Cl-, Pb and Cd were analyzed using Atomic absorption spectroscopy. K+ was determined using flame photometer method. Copper Cu2+ was analyzed using spectrophotometer, pH was analyzed with the aid of pH meter, Fe2+ was determined calorimetrically using Spekker absorption meter; Tds was determined using glass fiber filter. Turbimetric method was used to assess turbidity. Anions like HCO3- were also estimated by titrimetric method. Coliform analysis was carried out by the most probable number technique (MPN). The result shows that average pH for deep and shallow aquifer gives 5.8 and 6.3, sulphate 14.2 and 10.97, Nitrate 2.5 and 2.2., Phosphate 1.48 and 1.68, iron 1.98 and 1.60 magnesium 11.4 and 11.8, Sodium 1.80 and 2.4, Chloride 8.4 and 9, Tds 33.51 and 62.17. The coliform count ranges from 3/100 to 7/100 ml only for shallow aquifer (pollution), magnesium is the major contributors of hardness in both cases. Deep aquifer water plots as magnesium cation and a no dominant anion and on the transition between fresh and salt water (brackish water). The shallow aquifer has magnesium sulphate and plots in the zone of sea water, and shows hard water. The SAR for deep aquifer is 0.58, while that of shallow aquifer is 0.32 both are excellent for irrigation. Both waters are ideal for use in industries and homes, while the aquifers are highly polluted by iron, the shallow aquifer is polluted by water borne diseases. Reference to these information is ideal for the water resource development of the region

Approximation of Summation Formula of the Series Involving a Set of Polynomials and its Applications
In this paper, we define a set of polynomials and two dimensional gamma density function to obtain its expectation formula. Again, we derive the generalized Bosanquet and Kestleman convergence theorem and then use it to evaluate an approximation formula of the series involving this set of polynomials. Finally, we make an application of this approximation formula to derive the generating functions of various hypergeometric functions.
