Bio estimation of Body Weight on the Basis of Body Measurement of Crossbred Yoruba Ecotype Indigenous Chickens
The study was conducted to assess possibility of predicting body weight on the basis of body measurement in crossbred Yoruba Ecotype in order to provide further information leading to their improvement. The genotype was made up of Yoruba Ecotype Chicken (FEC) and Dominant Black (DB). Mating type resulted from the crossing were (DB x DB), (DB x YE) and (YE x YE). Data were collected on Body Weight (BG), Breast Girth (BG), Body Length (BDL), Kneel Length (KL), Neck Length (NL), Shank Length (SL), Wing Length (WL) and Beak Length (BKL) were measured individually on adult progenies resulted from the crosses. The measurements were taken with aid of weighing scale and simple measuring tape. The General Linear Model (GLM) of the Statistical Analysis System (SAS) was used for the analysis of the data generated. Coefficient of determination (R2) for all the traits were generally positive and significant (P < 0.05), highest value was obtained for DB x DB followed by DB x YE and least value was obtained for YE x YE. The value ranged from 0.88 – 0.98 in DB x DB, 0.36 – 0.97 in DB x YE and 0.86 – 0.95 in YE x YE. BG gave highest coefficient of determination across the genotypes; BG (0.98, 0.97, 0.95), followed by SL (0.94, 0.97, 0.95) and least value were observed in BKL (0.56, 0.365 and 0.46) for (DB x DB), (DB x YE) and (YE x YE) respectively. Conclusively, the result indicated that significant amount of improvement can be achieved through continuous selection and breeding of the genotypes involved in this study

Sex Reassignment Surgery among Transgender Women in Chennai
This study focusses on Sex Reassignment Surgery among transgender women. In Chennai Transgender Women are called as Aravanis. Few of them seek the assistance of Health Care Providers while few others get the assistance from Quacks and rest of them get the sex reassignment surgery done by senior Transgender Women. To explore the method adapted for SRS, reasons of undergoing SRS and the reasons for choosing the particular method. In June 2016, 784 Male to Female Transgender enrolled in the CBO - Thozhi, 275 in Transgender Rights Association (TRA) and 282 in Tamil Nadu Aravanigal Association (THAA). A sample size of 299 was taken. As mixed method was used in depth interviews (9) and three focus group discussion (6 respondents in each group) was conducted to collect data qualitative data. Semi structured Interview Schedule was used for quantitative study. Interview guide and Focus Group Discussion Guide was used for qualitative study. It was found that of the 58% of the respondents had undergone SRS and called themselves as Nirvanas. Of the 174 respondents who had undergone SRS, 43 (25%) of them had taken assistance of Senior Transgender Women while 40 of the respondents had SRS done through unqualified persons (quacks). Of the 35 (12%) of the respondents who lived with parents, only two of them were Nirvanas. When compared to Aquas (Transgender Women who have not under gone sex reassignment surgery), more number of Nirvanas were married to males if not had permanent sex partners. The CBOs can assist the respondents to get the necessary documents which are required for SRS. Thaiammas can be trained by PHC doctors for a surgery and also to handle the post-surgery complications. The delay which is government hospitals needs to be addressed. Law enforces should take care of the Quacks. The Tamil Nadu government has taken many steps to assist the Transgender Women. Few government hospitals also perform SRS. But still not all the Transgender Women make use of this facility. The gaps needs to be identified and addressed.

Application of Integrated Geophysical methods to select sites of high Groundwater in the Pru District of the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.
Groundwater has been identified as the best source of rural water supply because it has eliminated the problem of water borne diseases which have affected communities in the Pru District in the Brong Ahafo Region for some years. An adequate and sustainable source of groundwater can be obtained by geophysical methods which ensure that potable and safe drinking water is available for the entire population. Integrated geophysical methods involving Electromagnetic and Electrical resistivity methods have been carried out to delineate groundwater potential and locate drilling sites for boreholes in the District. The Electromagnetic profiling method was used for reconnaissance survey to identify anomaly conductive spots for further investigation using the Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) technique. The Schlumberger array was carried out for the VES investigation. Interpretation of the VES data revealed a general pattern of a three layered earth structure, namely topsoil, saturated sandy/ lateritic clay and weathered/ fractured/ fresh basement rocks. The presence of aquifer units included the weathered zones and the fractured basement. These units are found at a depth ranging between 27.0 and 69.5 m.

Patient compliance to clinician prescribed pharmacologic treatment in elderly African Americans
Willful or unintended and negligent noncompliance to the advice of a clinician and recommended prescription medication by the elderly may have widespread ramifications, and often leads to hospitalizations, and increases in home health care costs and death. The elderly in the United States, average 12.7 prescriptions per year, consume 30% of prescription medications, spend $15 billion annually, and some receive eight or more medications per day. The focus of this qualitative study with a phenomenological design was to gain insight into the lived experiences in respect of pharmacological noncompliance. The participants for this study included 20 elderly African American individuals from Wisconsin. The research questions were framed to conform to a phenomenological study. The purpose of the study was to gain insight into the personal lived experiences of study participants in respect of medication compliance and adhering and complying with the medical advice of physician medical practitioners. Participants narrated life’s story regarding a personal medical condition and the ability to adhere to the instructions of a physician. The normative decision-making theory served as the conceptual framework and reference, to gain a deeper understanding of the motivations that drive, or constrain compliance to medication. The analysis of the data took place after completion of the research. The interviews were coded, transcribed, and categorized to facilitate the analysis of the data using an appropriate software program. The findings of the study indicated that the elderly experience different challenges. The responses of participants showed that the compliance levels increased when a greater and individualized interest is taken in the patient by healthcare providers. Patients are less likely to comply with the medical advice of a physician when there is little effort made to build and sustain a caring physician-patient relationship. The findings of this study may advance understanding of compliance to medical treatment, as the quest for improving the quality of life is ongoing and continuous in the United States.

Pericardial effusion revealed an aortic dissection: case report and recent review of the literatures
Pericardial effusions are frequent conditions, there etiologies are dominated by: acute infarction of the myocardium, myocarditis, metabolic disorders, certain neoplasias, inflammatory or infectious diseases, traumatisms and cardiac surgery. The dissection of the aorta is one of the rare conditions; it is primarily due to a rupture of the ascending aorta and presents diagnostic difficulties. We report the case of an 80 years old male, with a medical history of chronic smoking stopped since 2 years, a recently discovered of hypertension, a surgery for an inguinal hernia and appendicitis. Presented in our formation with an expansive pericardial effusion; clinical examination found an asymmetry of upper extremity blood pressures, thoracic radiography showed an unrolled aorta. Thoracic CT scan has allowed the diagnosis of aortic dissection type 1 of De Bakey classification and type A of Stanford. The patient was referred to a cardiovascular surgical center where he benefited of the replacement of the dissected aorta by a prosthetic tube while preserving his native valve, with positive outcomes. Our clinical observation aim to discuss diagnostic of dissection to any pericardial effusion or pericarditis, even in the absence of usual symptoms, in order to avoid any diagnostic delay. In our methodology we have overview a systemic review included PuBMed; all of our results in discussion are not based to basis recommendations because of the uncommun presentation having problem in extrapolating strong evidence but we have reporting somes basis of experts’ opinion.

Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy in the elderly: a case report
Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia also known as arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy is one of the leading causes of arrhythmic cardiac arrest in young people and athletes, but is probably under diagnosed in the older population. The clinical course of arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia is characterized by the occurrence of arrhythmic events, which can cause sudden death, and the impairment of ventricular systolic function, which can lead to death from heart failure. Diagnosis has been facilitated by a set of clinically applicable criteria. The treatment is aimed at reducing the risk of sudden cardiac death properly risk-stratifying patients that would benefit from an implantable cardioverter defibrillator .Antiarrhythmic drugs and catheter ablation are also commonly used to improve quality of life by preventing ventricular arrhythmias, exercise restriction to prevent disease progression. This report presents case of elderly man with newly symptomatic arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia.

Vertical phytoplankton community distribution under seasonal fluctuations of hydrological parameters (Cap Juby, Moroccan Atlantic sea, 2009)
The vertical distribution of phytoplankton in stratified water columns (upper 150 m), was studied at five stations around the cap Juby area, Moroccan Atlantic sea, during four periods in 2009. Five depth levels were sampled: 5, 25, 50m for coastal stations and up to 90, 150m for offshore stations. The vertical variability of the physical parameters was analyzed to assess the impact of hydrological fluctuations on phytoplankton vertical distribution. The maximal densities are noted at the surface in April and June, where the upwelling activity reaches its maximum, manifested by cold-water temperature, low salinities and an intense intake of nutrients. These observations are confirmed by the vertical distribution of dominant species, such as Thalassiosira spp, Leptocylindrus danicus, Leptocylindrus minimus, Nitzschia spp and Alexandrium spp. Indeed, these five common and frequently occurring phytoplankton species showed maximal proliferation, on the upper layers, in upwelling periods. In February and October, a considerable stratification of all parameters is noticed, leading to an unremarkable vertical variability in phytoplankton distribution.
