Effect of different establishment methods and sowing schedules on growth and yield of hybrid rice (Oryza sativa) and their after effects on succeeding wheat (Triticum aestivum) in rice –wheat cropping system
A field experiment was conducted at Jammu during 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 to evaluate the effect of two establishment methods (conventional sowing and zero tillage) in wheat (Triticum aestivum ) and four establishment methods (conventional transplanting of 25 days seedling, dry seeding @ 40 Kg/ha, wet seeding after puddling @ 40 kg/ha and SRI methods) and 4 sowing schedules (15th May, 25th May, 5th June and 15th June) in rice (Oryza sativa) under rice-wheat cropping system. Rice establishment methods and sowing schedules had significant impact on growth, yield attributes and yield of rice. Both the direct seeded methods of rice, being at par, recorded significantly higher mean grain yield and other growth parameters of rice as compared to conventional transplanting or SRI method. Similarly, 15th June rice sowing schedule resulted in marked increased in all the growth parameters, yield attributes and grain yield of rice as compared with other sowing schedules. However, both the establishment methods of wheat failed to cause any significant effect on growth and yield of succeeding wheat crop. Establishment methods of wheat and rice as well as sowing schedules of hybrid rice did not cause marked effect on soil physico-chemical parameters as well as available nutrient (N, P and K) content after completion of rice-wheat cycle. However, bulk density of soil at 0-15 and 15-30 cm depths was observed considerably higher with zero tilled wheat, while the minimum in system of rice intensification (SRI) method. Higher net returns and benefit cost ratio were recorded when wheat was established through zero tillage and rice through wet seeded sown on 15th of June in rice-wheat cropping system.

Essential attributes in the corporate reports
MIS is an organizational information system which supports not only operations but also the management processes by providing the 'right information’ to the ‘right people’ at the ‘right time’ and at the ‘right cost’. The information is said to be right when it possesses all the attributes like timeliness, accuracy and reliability, adequacy, consistency and uniformity, brevity, need based, economy, predictive ability, etc. Right people means 'one information not to all the decision makers and all the information not to one decision maker’. Right time and right cost do not need any explanation. When these four rights are right, MIS is bound to be right and effective in discharging its role.

Evaluating and Gap Analyzing the Quality of Services Provided to Customers from Airlines Company
Human being is now living in the technology era and is experiencing the economy of the pioneer technologies, consumer-based economy and eventually economy of the services. People are now benefiting from the fast information exchange and facile transportations and the progress in technology made all these possible. This phenomenon has raised the expectation of the public concerning standard services. In addition to that, the competitive market provided a positive attitude for the improvement of the services and keeping the customers satisfied. This study tried to apply Kano and SERVQUAL models and by synthesizing the two models resolves their shortcomings and proposes new capacities for improving the services. Aseman Airlines is one of the most important service organizations in providing airlines. Results of the study show that the quality if the services provided by Asemn Airlines does not meet the customer’s expectations and there is a negative gap in all the five factors of service quality. The biggest gap was related to the insufficient time of the employees for handling the passengers’ requests and the narrowest gap was related to the courtesy of the employees. It can be concluded that the focus of the company’s managers should be placed on the improvement of the services whose gaps are bigger and the customers are less satisfied with, otherwise the company will face huge challenges for providing the services.

Experimental evaluation and comparison of performance of polymeric insulating materials in radiation environment
Polymeric insulating materials are increasingly being used in outdoor and radiation environments such as space, nuclear power plants etc. It is well known that polymeric materials used for electrical insulations may suffer from tracking. It is necessary to form a credible database about the tracking resistance of different polymeric insulating materials and their behaviour under ac/dc voltage stresses as affected by the radiation. The investigations here show that, the DC resistance to tracking of all the materials investigated were significantly lower than that for AC. It is therefore necessary to formulate separate standards for tracking under DC voltage stresses. Also, the test results show that Silicone rubber and High Density Poly Ethylene samples are reliable for radiation environments.

FPGA implementation of an efficient space vector pulse width modulation algorithm
In this paper a resource efficient SVPWM algorithm having low computational overheads, is proposed. This can be used for Three Phase voltage source inverter to supply variable voltage and variable frequency to three phase ac drives. This technique has the advantages such as lower switching losses, higher output voltage for the same dc bus voltage, and better harmonic performance. Conventional scheme is theoretically simple, the implementation is difficult especially with the advance of switching frequency (low sampling period). The complicated procedures will result in long processing time and extensive computational resources. Using this resource efficient SVPWM algorithm, the conventional SVPWM is decomposed into fast integer operations entirely by using an intermediate vector, which will properly counteract the redundant calculations of the remaining procedures. Since it can be implemented without any multiplier or divider, the fast algorithm is especially suitable for field programmable gate array applications. It ensures lower hardware resource usage, and at the same time, operates faster. Also the Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) offer high computational ability and flexibility due to their parallel execution and reconfigurable hardware. Hence the scheme suggests the implementation of a resource efficient algorithm for SVPWM generation using FPGA and obtains higher sampling rates with minimal use of hardware resources Hence a modified SVPWM algorithm is developed by using intermediate vectors and the transformed mathematical equations, from the conventional SVPWM algorithm. This modified algorithm is then implemented using VHDL, downloaded on XILINX Spartan 2E kit XC3S200E and the waveforms were observed on the oscilloscope.
