Preserving social identity in diverse workforce: the perspective of management and employees
The contemporary organizations are confronting the issue of managing and retaining diverse workforce. This issue of diversity management becomes more significant when employees are very pertinent about preserving their social and cultural identity. Multiple diversity management programs are used to cater the issue of heterogeneity of the employees. Our paper focused on the management and employees’ perspective on diversity management while keeping in view the social identity of employees. Our theoretical underpinning was based on the idea that success of diversity management programs is contingent on the volitional participation of employees. Qualitative research methodology was followed to explain the management and employee opinion about diversity management in context of social identity. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews of 12 representatives of management and employees. It was found that there are differing opinions of employees and management which are the main cause behind the failure of diversity management programs. This research—conducted in Pakistani fast food chain store—is completely new up to the best of knowledge. The findings of this research will contribute towards the theoretical understanding and practical applications of diversity management.

Demographic factors and emotional intelligence as correlates of perceived job stress
This study investigated the impact of some demographic factors and emotional intelligence as correlates of perceived job stress. Emotional intelligence (EI) is seen as an individual’s capacity to appropriately regulate his/her emotions, and to use the information to guide one’s thinking and action. The workplace had become a high stress environment. Employees experience high level of stress due to various factors such as high workload, tight deadlines, high targets, type of work, among others.Stress in the workplace reduces productivity, increases management pressures, and makes people ill in many ways. Workplace stress affects the performance of the brain, including functions of work performance; memory, concentration, and learning. The study examined if there will be a significant positive correlation between EI, gender and ageon perceived job stress. The study employed the use of a survey design by gathering data from a sample of two hundred and thirty-nine (239) respondents. Questionnaires were used to gather information. Three hypotheses were tested and the results showed that there was a significant relationship between EI and perceived job stress(r = .743**, N= 239, P < .01). Also, the t-test analysis revealed that there was a significant effect of gender on perceived job stress (Crit-t = 1.96, Cal.t = .441, df = 237, P < .05).T-test findings also revealed that there was no significant effect of age on perceived job stress(Crit-t = 1.96, Cal.t = -0.60,df = 237; p > .05).It was recommended among others that employers should take a serious effort to ensure that their employees are well trained on EI constructs, encourage a good team-working ability and cooperation, and involvement in task by every employee should be emphasised which will invariably reduce stress at work.

A Study on urbanization and waste management in Iran
Urbanization Growth in the world and our country has been reached to the extent that in most of countries amongst our country nearly 70 percent of people live in cities and this matter make urban managers determined to study the urban issues with planning and providence. Attention to environmental and human health, and all creatures on earth is one of fundamental principles in survival and life of God given gifts that are widely available to us, environment, pollution control including solid waste forms an important part of this task that according to the principles and norms of economic health is allocated special place in new Science and Technology. Attention to community health and preventive aspects of health compliance. Garbage management is concerned with managing garbage separately that is not mixing up the dry waste with the wet, not collecting the recyclable and non-recyclable together this could lead to many problems. A very simple example is plastic bags if present in the waste used for composting would cause a lot of problems as it would not turn into soil but would remain there for years. An analysis of mathematics anxiety and mathematics interest
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between the mathematics anxiety, mathematics interest and mathematics achievement. The sample size comprised of 78 (32 male and 46 female) undergraduate students of Bachelor of Science in Economics. The Pearson correlation analysis is used to analyze the data. The results revealed that mathematics anxiety has significant negative correlation with mathematics interest and mathematics achievement. It is also found that mathematics interest and mathematics achievement has significant positive correlation. There was a no significant gender difference found in mathematics anxiety but there was a significant gender difference in mathematics interest and mathematics achievement. Moreover, female students showed a higher level of mathematics interest and mathematics achievement than the male students. The study reveals that the performance of the students of Economics in Mathematics is influenced by the mathematics anxiety.

Full time students' motivation evaluation for SMS based learning content using arcs model of motivational design
Emerging development in mobile learning and technology has offer great opportunity in education. The flexibility and reliability of mobile devices allow us to meet new pedagogical innovation in the education field. In this study, the use of SMS-based learning system (m-learning) towards full time Management students' motivation have been analyzed. A quantitative analysis was used to identify is there existed a significant difference on students' motivation between IMMS 1 and IMMS 2. Keller's (1983) ARCS model was widely applied to designed and developed the course content and Instructional Material Motivational Survey (IMMS) has been used to collect the data. Paired samples t-test was carried out to scrutinize is there existed a significant difference on students' motivation between IMMS 1 and IMMS 2. The findings illustrated that, there is existed difference between mean scores of students' motivation of IMMS 1 and IMMS 2 and a significant difference between relevance and satisfaction after the implementation of the SMS based learning.

This concept has named as social support and it has defined by many researchers Social support in the workplace can come from many sources. The most commonly explored sources are supervisors and coworkers. The present study on “A Study on work social support and performance of employee in automobile industry “The main objective of the study is to understand the level of work social support an employee perceives inside the organization. The study is to find out satisfactory level of the work social support and performance in organization. The main objective of study is to analyze the sources of work social support in the organization. The primary data were collected from the questionnaire and the secondary data was collected from company catalogue, websites and books. The collected data was analyzed using simple percentage, weighted mean, regression, correlation, ANOVA. The study helps to suggest the company that the overall performance of the company was good but there is need for better motivation system. Also there should be more training programmer which helps employees to improve their productivity. The researcher hopes that the findings and the suggestions given to the company might help the organization for the betterment of its growth. Major findings shows that most of the employees are satisfied with the management practice, IR, etc. They are proud to say that they are employee of Roots industries.

Indian real estate players taking economic crisis into its stride – a case study of DLF Ltd
Real estate sector is under deep crisis due to global financial meltdown. To mitigate the impact of GFM the real estate players were forced to adopt uncalled for practices such as lay-off, suspension of capital intensive projects etc. resulting into job losses. DLF Ltd, a leading real estate player in Indian was giving lot of thrust to sell its core assets such as residential, industrial and commercial plots to ease liquidity crunch faced by it due to GFM. As there are very few buyers available in the real estate market today the real estate players are wooing them by offering incentives and have adopted various management practices to neutralise the impact of GFM on their bottom-line. The real estate players have adopted practices such as redefining capital structure, low cost housing projects, value engineering, asset monetization, offering discount etc. to face the burnt of GFM effectively rather than adopting uncalled for means. These management practices adopted by Indian real estate players have helped them not only in bringing down adverse impact on bottom-line but also in managing their business effectively. In the back drop of this a study has been conducted to study effective management practices do adopted by DLF Ltd, a leading player in the Indian real estate market to manage global financial meltdown.

The relationship between non-verbal communication cues and student satisfaction
Students’ satisfaction has become an essence of success in today’s highly competitive world. In service industry specifically the education industry, communication is vital to determine students’ satisfaction. Past researches indicated that, most meaning of conversational messages comes from non-verbal communication. Therefore, this study intended to examine the relationship of non-verbal communication cues to students’ satisfaction. A total of 300 respondents were sampled from all around UiTM Kedah. They were evaluated on their perception on lecturers’ non-verbal communication behavior that would lead to their satisfaction to the services provided. The results of the study illustrate that three of the non-verbal communication cues were significant and positively related to students’ satisfaction. Kinesics and paralanguage was rated as among the non-verbal communication cues that provided the most impact on students’ satisfaction. However the result also indicated that there was no significant relationship between physical appearances of the lecturers to the students’ satisfaction. Overall, students’ in UiTM Kedah are fairly satisfied with the non-verbal communication cues of the lecturers. The present study caters for a wide spectrum of students and development professionals, especially those who are interested in non-verbal communication related issues. It is highly hoped that the information gleaned from the present study may assist all service employees specifically in understanding better, the importance of non-verbal communication and its effects on students’ satisfaction.

Computer mediated communication, social support, cultural distance, and socio-cultural adjustment in international undergraduate students
The authors examined computer-mediated-communication technologies, perceived social support, perceived cultural distance, and socio-cultural adjustment in 80 international undergraduate students. Findings revealed that computer-mediated-communication technologies not elated to socio-cultural adjustment. Perceived social support and perceived cultural distance were positively related to socio-cultural adjustment in international students.

Examining the Effect of Company's Response Strategies on Customer's Perception of a Product-Harm Crises: Evidence Iran's Airline Industry
Product-harm crises can seriously impact the viability of a company. By considering the factors that affect the outcome of a crisis, organizations could manage crisis situations to minimize negative consequences. The purpose of research was twofold: (1) examining the impact of company's response strategies (i.e., denial, involuntary product recall, voluntary product recall and supper effort) on customer's perception of danger (2) examining the effect of Customer's perception of danger on repurchase intention for Iran's airline industry. Data obtained from 500 survey questionnaire were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM). The results revealed that Denial has a significantly negative effect on Customer's perception of danger. Involuntary product recall has a significantly negative effect on Customer's perception of danger. Voluntary product recall has a significantly positive effect on Customer's perception of danger. Supper effort has a significantly positive effect on Customer's perception of danger. Customer's perception of danger has a significantly positive effect on Repurchase intentions. In addition results show that Denial was the best negative predictor of their Customer's perception of danger and Supper effort was the best positive predictor of Customer's perception of danger.
